Justin Kingston said, "I’ll arrange the dresses for my mom and Mia Lane. When you have a chance, keep an eye on the venue, and security asures are the most important."
"Don’t worry, I’ll be running over there whenever I have a chance these days." Finn Morgan responded happily, "With the first joint appearance of your mom and Mrs. Kingston, the rumors about the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship will be dispelled automatically."
For Justin Kingston, this was not just a charity banquet but also a perfect opportunity to bring his mom and Mia closer.
Five o’clock in the afternoon, in the recording studio.
"In this world, farewells always catch us off guard. No one can be with you forever, so while we’re together, we should treasure it. We might not et in the next life."
Mia Lane finally finished recording the last line of the drama.
She removed her headphones and took the cup of water handed over by Mary, "Thank you."
"Perfectly done!" Mary gave her a thumbs-up, "Mia, your speed is truly amazing, both quality and quantity are excellent, no wonder you’re Gina!"
"Stop praising , if you keep it up I’ll feel embarrassed." Mia Lane laughed as she finished the water and grabbed her purse nearby, "Let’s go!"
"Mia, is this going to be your last piece?" Mary caught up.
Mia blurted out, "A masterpiece maybe, the script wasn’t bad."
"You’ve long been a master!" Mary admired her, "But the path to being a deity is never-ending!"
Mary buzzed around her ear, occasionally making Mia Lane laugh.
The two took the elevator down and walked out of the lobby’s glass door, just in ti to et the elegantly dressed Sean Dalton.
Their gazes converged, and Sean Dalton stopped, blocking their way.
"Take to see Anton Miller!" Her superior gaze fell on Mia Lane, and her tone was full of entitlent, "I want to visit him."
Mia Lane found it amusing, "Why should I lead the way just because you want to go?"
After saying this, she took Mary’s hand and stepped forward.
Sean Dalton, however, grabbed her wrist, "Can’t understand human language? You’re just a voice actress! Taking you along is a sign of respect!"
Mary was stunned. Did she forget Mia is Mrs. Kingston?
"Let go." Mia Lane looked coldly at her hand, filled with disgust for Sean Dalton.
"Take to see him!" Sean Dalton emphasized sternly, refusing to let go and raised her tone, "Hurry up!"
At this mont, a Lamborghini slowed down and stopped at the entrance of the lobby.
"Mr. Kingston is here." Mary spotted quickly.
Sean Dalton turned her eyes and instinctively let go when she saw the car, feeling inexplicably guilty.
Mia Lane’s indifferent gaze swept over Sean Dalton’s face, having no ti to argue, she walked towards the Lamborghini, getting into the car with Mary, and it quickly drove away.
Sean Dalton looked upset.
In the departing car, the driver was driving while Mary put on headphones to watch a drama.
Mia Lane sat next to Justin Kingston, and he asked her, "All done recording? The last session today?"
"Finished recording, the director hasn’t reviewed it yet, but I don’t think there’ll be any issues." She trusted her professional ability.
Turning her gaze outside the window, Mia Lane noticed the car was heading in the wrong direction, "Where are we going?"
"Going to Ian Shelby’s." Justin Kingston replied warmly.
She knew they were going to see Anton Miller.
"I didn’t expect him to be so thoughtful, buying gifts for the children." Mia Lane took the opportunity to complint, smiling, "The kids played happily, and are fond of him."
"This gesture surprised as well." Justin Kingston’s eyes were gentle, feeling gratified, "He’s rarely proactively nice to people, his kindness is shown in a very peculiar way."
Mia Lane laughed, "Is it that bad? You actually described it like that?"
"You don’t know how I’ve tolerated him all these years." Justin Kingston smiled faintly.
Ten minutes later, the car stopped in the courtyard in front of Ian Shelby’s villa.
Ian Shelby was pulled by Anton Miller to play chess, the two seed incredibly bored.
Hearing the car engine, they both looked up toward the window.
