Hailey Hale turned around speechlessly, only to bump into a warm, solid chest. Finn Morgan’s large hand grasped the back of her head, his gaze coldly fixed on the chubby man.
Hailey caught a faint scent from his body; it was Finn.
The chubby man was stunned.
Finn spoke coolly and distantly, "Don’t co again, unless you want to be thrown out by security." After his reminder, he glanced at the security guards nearby.
The security guards understood.
Finn held the girl and moved forward. Hailey, unable to lift her head in his embrace, followed him step by step, instinctively holding onto his waist for balance.
In that mont, both of them felt an electric shock-like sensation.
Under his protection, she moved backward blindly, feeling safe, and even when stepping down, she didn’t stumble.
The chubby man was about to give chase but was stopped by the security and would never appear here again.
The female employees who witnessed this scene were incredibly envious, thinking it was so sweet!
With an impassive expression, Finn opened the front passenger door. With a gentle push, Hailey plopped into the seat and looked up at Finn.
"Put your feet in," the man said calmly.
She quickly tucked her feet inside the car. He closed the door for her. Watching Finn’s figure as he walked around the car, Hailey’s heart skipped several beats, and she felt her face flush.
Finn got into the car, casually closed the door, fastened his seatbelt, and started the car.
And the girl in the passenger seat?
She remained in a daze for a long ti, recalling the previous mont, her heart still pounding like a little deer racing.
Her nostrils seed to still carry the faint scent of his cologne; it was a strangely unique feeling.
He really lives so ticulously, doesn’t he? A grown man wearing cologne?
But the scent was not overwhelming at all; it was subtly pleasant.
On the way back, the car was filled with silence...

Monica Usher arrived at the design departnt to communicate with the designers about the True Love series.
Lydia Ingram appeared at the doorway. Seeing the office in a state of orderly busyness, with no one noticing his presence as everyone was absorbed in their work, he felt gratified.
After surveying the room, he finally fixed his gaze on Monica Usher.
Today, she was wearing a white blouse paired with a black skirt. Far from being plain, her curvy figure added a unique charm.
Monica had her back to Lydia Ingram, occasionally bending over, perfectly showcasing her curves.
Lydia Ingram just stood there, entranced.
When Monica turned around, her face, her cool and capable deanor, gently stirred Lydia Ingram’s heart. This woman was truly pleasant to look at.
"President Ingram." Monica Usher walked towards him. "Did you need sothing from ?"
"Thank you for your hard work," Lydia Ingram said with a smile. "I was just passing by and decided to take a look. I’m not actually looking for you. Never thought soone of your standing would personally co to the design departnt for discussions."
"I just want to do things well," Monica Usher said. "Please rest assured, President Ingram, I’m in charge of this True Love series, and I’m certain we’ll make R-Alan shine in the jewelry world."
"Good!" Lydia Ingram was brimming with confidence thanks to her. After all, following The Kingston Group’s thod, it’s hard to lose.
Monica Usher glanced at him and walked out.
Lydia Ingram turned to follow her.
The two took the elevator upstairs.
In the relatively cramped space, the middle-aged man felt a bit uneasy, especially as he caught a whiff of her luxurious perfu, which made it sowhat challenging to maintain composure.
Yet he restrained himself, for at his age, his body seldom reacted.
To have Monica Usher within his grasp, the ti was not yet ripe. But eventually, it would be possible, Lydia Ingram smiled.
