This scene was completely unexpected, sothing Ian Shelby never anticipated. He smiled and hugged the children, "Long ti no see, Gigi, Dolly."
Justin Kingston was shocked and calmly asked, "You know each other?"
"So, you’re his personal doctor?" Mia Lane looked up and sneered at Ian Shelby, "Is this your grand ambition?"
"ntor, you haven’t seen the news." Ian hurriedly waved his hands, explaining with grievance, "It’s not what you think."
"ntor??" Justin was more shocked than ever, and it seed Ian was quite afraid of her??
Mia, slurping noodles, casually asked, "Yes, I don’t watch the news. So, what’s the story? Tell ?"
"CEO Kingston provided with funds and equipnt, which has allowed to better delve into dical research," Ian answered. "Thanks to his sponsorship over the years, I have developed over a hundred new dicines and perford surgeries on more than seventy critically ill patients. I’m not just his personal doctor but also serve the public."
Mia naturally believed him. She smiled lightly and glanced at the two n standing, "Eat the noodles. Why are you standing?" At that mont, she seed to take control.
The children quickly pulled out chairs, "Let’s have noodles! It’s been a while since we’ve had breakfast with Uncle Shelby!"
Inside, Justin was utterly shocked!
How could Mia be Ian’s ntor? Yet reality was right in front of him.
Until he escorted Ian out of Erald Cove, he couldn’t help but confirm in the courtyard, "Why do you call her ntor?"
"She is my ntor," Ian admitted honestly. "My dical skills, besides self-study, were initially taught by her, and she still guides now."
"So... she’s a doctor?" Justin only knew she tinkered with so herbs but didn’t know she was skilled in dicine.
Ian reached over, patting his shoulder in a friendly manner, "CEO Kingston, you’ve married a treasure."
Watching the departing Volvo, Justin remained in shock; Ian wouldn’t lie.
Isn’t this woman too low-profile?
With Ian’s recent exposure, hasn’t she thought about revealing anything? Not considered catching so attention? At the very least, it might change his mom’s view of her as a country woman.
Today is a workday, so Justin had to go to the company.
Before leaving, he went into the living room.
Mia was lounging on the sofa, her legs resting on the coffee table, casually munching on seeds, flipping channels with a remote, her whole deanor quite elevated.
Knowing Justin was approaching, she didn’t glance at him.
Until his tall fra blocked the TV screen, Mia put down the remote and stood up, "What’s up? Mr. Kingston, are you suddenly interested in your wife?"
"Can you treat burns?" Justin sincerely asked, looking into her eyes.
Initially about to leave, Mia froze upon hearing this.
He added another sentence, "Not for , it’s for my mom."
"Let think first whether I can treat it before answering you!" Finished, she proudly turned upstairs, casually flicking a shell backward, landing directly on Justin’s bangs.
Justin’s gaze darkened but he seed helpless with her.
Given this woman’s personality, she would negotiate terms with him.
Casually brushing off the shell from his bangs, he turned and left.
In the rose-filled courtyard, the air carried the fragrance of flowers, and the driver opened the Lamborghini’s door for him. Justin glanced back at the villa, then got into the car. As the car was starting, Ian sent a text ssage—
"Fate has healed you, love has healed you. If you can keep eating, eat for a lifeti, wish you well."
Staring at this ssage, he didn’t want to believe this nonsense!
Why is it only her cooking that counts? It’s not scientific!
Upstairs in the living room, Gigi and Dolly shook their heads, sighed, showing regret—
"Mommy, it seems like your little secret is exposed!"
"Just got caught off guard by Uncle Shelby! Haha!"
"Isn’t it surprising? Aren’t you surprised?"
"Mommy, why aren’t you talking? What are you thinking?"
Mia looked composed, completely indifferent, "Do you think we can still be low-key? Can we live a peaceful life?"
"No way!" Gigi teased her, "The identity of Mrs. Kingston alone won’t let you be low-key!"
