As Monica Usher started the car, silent tears rolled down her cheeks.
She suddenly rembered how kind Kristina Kingston was to her, but she couldn’t turn back now...
The more she used to love Justin Kingston, the more she hated him now!

The Kingston Group, with its towering skyscrapers, pierced the sky.
It was lunchti, and Hailey Hale and Barbara Sutton took the elevator down together, without prior agreent. Hailey had her headphones on and was engrossed in watching "Love in the Purple Bay" on her phone.
She couldn’t help but laugh out loud at a particular scene, "Hahaha."
Barbara glanced at her phone screen. She wasn’t in the habit of watching dramas, but this show was so popular that she had a general idea of it.
The elevator quickly descended to the first floor, and the doors opened.
Hailey was so engrossed in her show that she walked out and bumped into soone, "Ouch!" Her forehead hurt from the collision!
Looking up, it was Finn Morgan!
He glanced coolly at her phone screen as Anton Ford’s captivating side profile ca into view, "Watching dramas while walking? What if you bump into soone carrying hot water? Wouldn’t you get scalded?"
"..." Just as Hailey was about to argue with him, Finn stepped into the elevator.
The elevator doors quickly closed.
"How bizarre! Who carries hot water around the office anyway?" She felt frustrated and wondered what was wrong with Finn today.
Last night, everything seed fine!
He even said he wanted to go to Aethel Falls with her!
Why did his attitude change today?
In the relatively narrow elevator space, Finn, with his hands in his pockets and a slight frown, recalled the first words Hailey said to him that morning, which inexplicably annoyed him!
The morning scene went like this——
It was almost ti for work, and the main bedroom door hadn’t opened yet.
He knocked on the door, "Hailey, ti to get up."
There was no response.
He knocked again, raising his voice, "Hailey Hale! Get up for work! Are you still sleeping?"
After about a minute of knocking, the bedroom door finally opened, and there she was in her pajamas, her hair disheveled, holding her phone with headphones on.
The screen was showing "Love in the Purple Bay," and Anton Ford’s face appeared in Finn’s view.
She was actually watching a drama!
"Give a minute." Hailey suddenly beca alert, quickly took off her headphones, closed the door, and reappeared about five minutes later.
She had changed her clothes, combed her hair, washed her face, and brushed her teeth, looking refreshed.
"Oh my god, do you know? Anton Ford is just too enchanting. If he wasn’t in this drama, I definitely wouldn’t watch it." Hailey said frankly as she walked out, "He’s exactly my type!"
In the elevator, Finn recalled her expression when she said that, and for so reason, he felt rather uncomfortable.
So he barely spoke to her the whole way.
And his attitude towards her was inexplicably bad that day.
Finn didn’t know what he was upset about.
And Hailey had no idea why he was upset, so she kept her distance from him. After all, she was staying at his place and couldn’t afford to offend him.
Monica Usher returned to the company.
"President Usher, President Ingram is looking for you." soone said to her.
"Okay."
She went straight to the CEO’s office, where Lydia Ingram and several company executives were, seemingly discussing sothing.
Upon hearing footsteps, everyone looked up at her.
Lydia Ingram said, "Monica, you ca just in ti. There’s sothing that requires your presence."
"What is it?" Monica Usher had already composed herself and imrsed herself in work.
