Monica Usher quickly went upstairs after arriving at the company.
Walking into the president’s office, Lydia Ingram looked at her with a smile, "The contract is prepared. When will he co to sign it?" Then she gestured toward Joe.
Joe handed the contract to Monica Usher, "President Usher, please take a look."
Before Monica could speak, Lydia continued, "See if there’s anything that needs to be added. Is this price enough? It’s 50% above market rate. As long as he cos, I think money isn’t the issue. We can increase it."
"He didn’t agree." Monica confessed.
Lydia’s smile slightly froze, and Joe was stunned for a mont, leading to a brief silence in the office.
"What? Even you can’t manage it?" The middle-aged man frowned slightly.
Monica’s lips slightly curled as she said in a relaxed tone, "But I’ve thought of another candidate who might be more suitable."
"Who?"
"Sean Dalton." She analyzed, "As popular as Anton Miller is now, this woman is equally popular, and due to a drama airing recently, many viewers are shipping them as a couple."
Joe also pondered, "President Usher’s words make sense. How co we didn’t think of her? And as far as I know, aren’t these two constantly rumored together? They’ve been caught by the dia multiple tis."
"Anton Miller has already been confird to endorse for The Kingston Group." Monica’s gaze darkened slightly, "If Sean Dalton agrees to endorse us, I think... it would also be a major highlight."
"Alright!" Lydia trusted her judgnt and agreed readily, "Then I’ll leave this matter to you. Look over the contract and see what needs to be changed."
Monica took the contract from Joe and simply glanced at the endorsent fee, "There’s really no need for this much money. I think Sean Dalton will definitely co."
Ten minutes later, in the vice president’s office.
Monica sat on the sofa by the window, lit a cigarette, and stared at the number she had just looked up on her phone, her gaze narrowing as she exhaled rings of smoke.
Then she dialed the number.
After a while, the call connected, "Hello." Sean Dalton’s lazy voice ca through.
"Hello, Miss Dalton," Monica got straight to the point, "I’m Monica Usher, vice president of the R-Alan Group, and I’d like to invite you to endorse our soon-to-be-released True Love series."
"True Love series?" Sean Dalton scoffed and joked, "Your company president, Lydia Ingram, has been married ten tis already. Does she even know what true love is?"
Monica’s expression changed and her heart skipped a beat.
The other person continued, "You know, when I first saw the press release, I was speechless. Everyone around was mocking her."
"A product is a product; the president’s personal life is not yours to comnt on." Monica remained calm, took another drag on her cigarette, "I just want to tell you, Anton Miller has decided to endorse for The Kingston Group."
The originally intended hangup took Sean by surprise.
Monica continued, "It’s said that their upcoming product is also called the True Love series. Don’t you like him? Doesn’t he dislike you? Wouldn’t you want to give him a little trouble? Maybe compete with him?"
Monica truly understood won’s minds.
With a few words, she piqued Sean Dalton’s interest, "Alright, I agree!"
Monica wasn’t overly pleased; on the contrary, she remained calm because it was all within her expectations.
"Then, please co over and sign the contract tomorrow, Miss Dalton." Monica smiled.
"Can we sign it now?" Sean Dalton, too, was a straightforward person, "I’m near R-Alan now. Drafting a contract shouldn’t take long, right? Companies like yours should have templates."
