Ariel hurried out to greet him, and the mont she saw Lydia getting out of the car, she rushed up and hugged him! She buried her head deep in his chest and took a deep breath. Huh? There wasn’t any won’s perfu scent?
"What are you doing?" The man’s face turned dark, and he reached out to push her away, "Let go!" His tone was full of disgust.
Ariel was forced to let go, retreating a few steps from his push. She looked up at him with a tearful expression, "Lydia, you’ve been working late recently, I can’t sleep alone, I miss you."
Lydia had lost interest in her and stepped forward into the house.
"Lydia, did you finish the chicken soup?" She turned and followed, "How did it taste?"
"Don’t send it again." The man’s tone was icy, "I gave it all to Joe."
Ariel felt a pang in her chest, feeling wronged.
After Lydia entered the living room, he went upstairs. Ariel followed him, "Lydia, don’t be mad, I only did it because I care about you."
The man ignored her, took off his clothes, and went straight into the bathroom.
Water soon started running in the bathroom.
The woman stood in the bedroom, staring blankly for a while.
After a while, her gaze fell on the pile of clothes on the sofa. As if seizing an opportunity, Ariel stepped forward and examined his clothes under the lamp. She found no lipstick marks or long strands of hair.
She brought the clothes to her nose again to sll and confird there was no perfu scent.
So was she overthinking it?
Yet her husband never worked late before, he would die rather than work late, but since Monica Usher ca to the company, he began working late.
When unusual things happen, there’s always sothing going on.

Soon, the sound of water in the bathroom stopped.
Ariel quickly put the clothes back in place, having also cald her emotions.
When Lydia walked out of the bathroom, the woman stood quietly not far away, looking at him, her eyes revealing a mix of bitterness and grievance, "Lydia..."
The man’s expression remained sullen, with his brows lightly furrowed, avoiding making eye contact with her.
"Do you like her?" Ariel finally couldn’t hold it in and tried to ask.
"Who?" Lydia adjusted his robe, calmly tying the belt around his waist.
The woman stared at him intently, "The new deputy general manager."
"Outstanding people naturally have an attraction, and they can bring benefits to the company. I suppose every boss would like such employees, right?" he said matter-of-factly.
Ariel admired his eloquence, but she emphasized, "I an the kind of liking between a man and a woman."
Lydia’s hands paused; he lifted his eyelids to glance at her, "That’s quite normal too, outstanding people always attract each other."
A strong sense of jealousy surged in the woman’s heart. She clasped her hands together, a rush of blood pumping through her brain.
"Can you fire her?" She was very dissatisfied.
These words pricked Lydia’s heartstrings. He frowned and turned his gaze, "What did you just say?" Still daring to make demands of him?
The woman faced his cold eyes, inexplicably feeling a bit nervous, her tone softened a bit, "I said... Can you change the deputy general manager?"
"Changing a wife is possible, changing a deputy general manager is not." Lydia’s answer was heartless, yet sincere.
Ariel’s heart instantly froze!
Monica Usher, that vixen, had completely drawn her husband away!
Then she heard Lydia say to her, "Don’t sleep in the master bedroom tonight, go out and reflect properly."

Feeling his rejection and anger, Ariel didn’t put up a fight. She left with grievance and fury.
Wasn’t it just bringing him so chicken soup once?

Monica Usher! Such a high-level player! Ariel decided she needed to take action.
That night, in her apartnt, Hailey Hale hardly slept. She lay on the sofa covered with the blanket that Finn Morgan used, scenes of Finn protecting her playing repeatedly in her mind.
She didn’t know what kind of emotion she held for him, it was a bit complex, yet a bit warm.
