Seeing her right leg bitten by a snake, her face contorted in pain as she sharply inhaled.
"I’m sorry, I was a step too late." He scooped her up by the waist, filled with self-reproach, and quickly rushed to the cabin!
"It hurts..." Hailey Hale clutched her knee, tears welling in her eyes, brows furrowed, body tense, still in shock from the recent fright.

In the yard, everyone saw Finn Morgan rushing towards them with her in his arms, their hearts skipped a beat, worry flashing in their eyes.

Mia Lane dashed out of the cabin. As a Chinese dicine practitioner, she had strong ergency skills. She grabbed a handful of ’Cantonnt’ from the corner of the wall, tore off the leaves and started rubbing them in her palm, "Get in the car! Hurry up!" Then she said to one of the bodyguards, "Take them to Dr. Shelby! There are many venomous snakes in the mountains, we can’t afford to be careless!"
"Yes, Mrs. Kingston."
The bodyguard quickly opened the rear car door, and Finn Morgan swiftly got in with Hailey Hale in his arms.
Mia Lane followed and applied the herbal dicine to her snakebite, while Finn Morgan held it in place with his hand.

"Yes." The car started.
"Finn, take care of her, I’ll call Ian!" she shouted towards the car.
"Okay."
The car sped away from their sight!
Everyone in the yard held their breath, feeling a sudden dread. They glanced at their feet.
"There’s still a snake... my god," soone said, feeling a chill down their back.
"I... I was sitting there for half an hour last night, and it was dark too." The thought gave them a fright.
"This is too scary."
Everyone chid in, carefully avoiding reckless movents.
Mia Lane reminded everyone, "Don’t go out at night. This season, snakes are coming out of their dens. Everyone must be careful, we’re leaving tomorrow, and we can’t afford any mishaps on the last night."
"Yes."
Then soone else said, "I suggest everyone get so rest early tonight."
"Right, go back to your rooms."
