"Almost done." Barbara Sutton looked up in the midst of her busyness, smiling.
Mia Lane also smiled slightly, "Thank you for your hard work."
"It’s my duty."
She had just sat down at her desk when Justin Kingston ca in through the door.
Upon hearing footsteps, Barbara looked up, "Hello, CEO Kingston." She quickly stood up to greet him.
Justin nodded and walked straight to Mia, sitting on the edge of the desk, gently holding her hand, "Why are your hands so cold?"
"It’s nothing, just caught a bit of wind." Mia looked at him, "It’s a bit chilly outside, that’s all."
Justin hurriedly took off his coat and draped it over her, "It’s been really tough on you these days, keeping everything in check."
"I don’t want any mistakes." Mia said to him, "This is the first task I’ve taken on since I started, I have to do it well."
He could see all the pressure she was under.
Leaning against the edge of the desk, Justin, dressed in a black shirt, looked as dashing as ever. He held her hand with one hand and placed his other hand on her shoulder, gazing at her affectionately.
"What’s up? Do you want to say sothing?"
"I don’t know why, I just can’t get enough of looking at you."
Such love made Barbara envious, and as she watched, she gradually lost her focus...
"By the way, Hailey and Finn Morgan made the news today." Mia started a new topic, "Did you see those photos?"
"Yeah." Justin nodded, "I saw them."
"I didn’t expect they’d end up in the photographer’s lens, and captured so perfectly." Mia smiled like a blooming spring flower, "They make quite a pair!"
"Yeah, I think so too." Justin reached out to gently play with a strand of her hair by her ear, softly asking her, "Are you done for the day? Should I give you a ride ho?"
Mia focused for a mont, puzzled, "Give a ride ho? Where are you going?"
"There’s a client I need to et at The Sovereign Club." Justin told her, "The CEO of a company from Aeridia is here on vacation, it’ll probably take two hours."
"Then go ahead." She was considerate, her voice soft, "Don’t delay important work, I can get ho myself."
"I’ll have Old Chapman take you."
Mia knew he was worried, so she nodded, "Alright, you handle it."
"Okay."
Justin took out his phone to call Old Chapman, then chatted briefly with Mia.
In the end, Mia urged him, "You go now, we can talk about anything else later. What you’re saying isn’t really important anyway."
Justin’s lips curved into a slight smile, he leaned forward, cupped the back of her head, and planted a light kiss on her forehead, "I’ll be off then."
"Drive safely."
He reluctantly let go of her hand and turned to walk toward the door.
This was the kind of love Barbara envied—money and affection...

The colleagues from R-Alan Group’s design departnt got off work together, everyone was excited because tonight was the dinner party at The Sovereign Club!
Such a high-class venue isn’t sowhere you can get into just because you have money. Enjoying it for free today is definitely a mont worth bragging about in life, and there might not be another chance.
A dozen or twenty people squeezed into the elevator, the air filled with joy!
"Will it all be food we’ve never tasted before?"
"It should be, after all, it’s The Sovereign Club, the na says it all."
"Will President Usher be going?" soone looked around, "I didn’t see her."
"She went ho to change clothes," soone replied, "President Ingram called her. As the vice president, how could she not attend? President Ingram will be there too, so everyone can have a blast tonight, it’s on the house!"
"Yay! That’s aweso!"
