Finn Morgan listened to the phone and looked at lissa rce, "..." For a mont, he didn’t know how to respond.
"Are you listening to ?" Justin Kingston thought it was a signal problem.
"Yes." He quickly ca to his senses, "Okay, I got it."
"What do you know?" Justin Kingston was sharp, "What’s wrong with you? I was asking how her mood is and if the injury is serious."
"Dr. Shelby wrapped it up, it’s not too bad, her shoulder is twisted, she might need to take a few days off."
"Taking ti off is a small matter." Justin Kingston said, "You can spare so ti to accompany her, I have the company."
"..."
Justin Kingston added, "Alright, you carry on, I’ll hang up now." With that, he hung up the phone.
This call left lissa rce and Mrs. Hai utterly confused about who was injured.
Finn Morgan put away his phone, and when he looked at lissa rce again, his entire mindset had changed, feeling a bit apologetic and awkward.
Seeing her swollen face, Finn Morgan also realized he had used too much force.
As he stepped toward her, Mrs. Hai quickly blocked him in front of lissa rce, pleading, "Young Master Morgan, if you want to hit soone, hit ! Please don’t hit Miss anymore! Our Miss has delicate skin and has never been slapped before!"
lissa rce felt wronged and suppressed her anger, she pushed away Mrs. Hai, furrowing her brows and staring at Finn Morgan, "You better explain things clearly! Who got kidnapped?"
"..." Finn Morgan stopped in his tracks before her, his expression much more relaxed.
"That girl got kidnapped, right?" lissa rce was sowhat gloating, "Are you anxious? Hurt? Am I the first person you thought of? Finn Morgan, am I that heartless?!"
The girl questioned loudly, "In your heart, am I that kind of woman? I admit I like you, but what use is it to kidnap her? In a law-abiding society, could I kill her? Even if I did, would you then love ?"
lissa rce’s mind was quite clear.
She wasn’t a foolish girl, after all, she was the daughter of The Monroe Family.
"I’m sorry..." Finn Morgan apologized sincerely.
"If sorry worked, why would we need the police?" lissa rce covered her red, swollen cheek, "The first slap of my life for no reason, if I told my father, you’d probably have to co with your family to apologize!"
"You can hit back." Finn Morgan closed his eyes and said calmly, "As long as it makes you feel better."
"I won’t!" lissa rce said, "You can treat to dinner tonight! As compensation! I’m here alone in Riventhal, you should be a good host."
This matter, Finn Morgan couldn’t refuse, after all, he had hit her by mistake.

He knew she was the cherished daughter of the Monroe Family, raised in the palm of their hand.
He could not love her, but he could not hit her... especially when she had done nothing wrong.
Finn Morgan considered not wanting to affect the friendly and business relationship between the two families, so he agreed, "Alright, consider it an apology."
"I’ll choose the venue, I’ll search online, just wait for my notification." lissa rce, with her red, swollen face, gave him a slight smile, "I hope you won’t stand up, a man should keep his word."
Finn Morgan had another property, he surprisingly didn’t hurry them to leave, deciding to talk after dinner.
Watching him turn to walk out, lissa rce didn’t try to make him stay, knowing she couldn’t hold him back.
"Miss..." Mrs. Hai was very distressed, leaning in to look at her face carefully, "I’ll go get you so ice."
lissa rce sat down on the sofa, and Mrs. Hai soon brought an ice pack to help her apply it to her swollen face, "Miss, how do you feel... it must hurt, right?"
"He will pay for this slap." lissa rce’s eyes were slightly cool, and she muttered a few words softly.
Mrs. Hai was puzzled, "Isn’t having a al a reconciliation?"
lissa rce didn’t respond, she already had her own plan, covering the ice pack and falling into contemplation.
