On the third-floor terrace of the villa, Justin Kingston and Mia Lane sat in wicker chairs, each holding a cup of warm milk, gazing at each other affectionately.
"The first piece of the True Love series will be designed by tomorrow morning," Mia said, unable to hide her anticipation despite her calm tone, "I went to see it today, and it’s breathtaking enough."
"The raw diamonds used are excellent, and the design is great, so all these factors combine to create such an effect," Justin replied, still grateful to her, "Thank you for your hard work."
"It’s no trouble at all. Thank you, CEO Kingston, for trusting and giving this platform to showcase my skills and win the trust of the executives with this project," Mia raised her milk cup, "A toast, to our victory."
Justin was very pleased, his smile deep, and clinked his cup with hers lightly before taking a sip of milk.
"Can we contact Anton Ford to shoot the promotional video now?" Justin casually ntioned, "I wonder if he has ti lately; isn’t he competing? We haven’t seen him in a while."
"It’s supposed to rain in the next couple of days; we can shoot after it’s over," Mia said, "For a talent like him, the shoot will be a breeze, won’t take long. Plus, I feel like winning the championship would be a given for him."
"Exactly." Justin had confidence in him too, "Everyone has their domain; it’s destined."
They chatted, sipping on milk in the gentle night breeze, their conversation transitioning from work to children, and then to Kristina Kingston.
Unnoticed, Justin thought of the Jade Pendant again.
It was an ancient mory, and there were currently no new clues... But he was determined to find out.
Mia was browsing her phone, responding to his words, when suddenly her expression froze, staring incredulously at a photo in the news!
"What’s wrong?" Justin, whose eyes had been on her, noticed the change.
Under the night sky, Mia looked up, "Finn Morgan and lissa rce were in the news..."
Justin put down his cup, quickly picked up the phone from the coffee table in front of him, and opened it.
The first news headline read – The Morgan family young master and fiancée having a low-profile dinner photographed!
Finn Morgan’s identity was revealed by lissa rce; he had always been known by the title of CEO Kingston’s Special Assistant, never the young master of the Morgan family.
They didn’t pay much attention to the text, as reporters would write anything, but Finn’s identity was plainly stated, a typical hidden wealthy second generation.
However, those clear photos –
lissa putting food on Finn’s plate, Finn pouring and handing her wine, Finn wiping the back of her hand with a napkin... Those actions, coupled with the happy smile on lissa’s face... Finn’s expression was gentle as well.
Seeing these photos, it was hard to argue they weren’t a couple deeply in love!
