Hailey was startled by her father once again. She held her phone and looked up, her eyes eting her father’s once more.
The ringtone continued to play...
Paige was puzzled, "Who’s that? So early? Is it Finn?"
But Dennis had already guessed.
Hailey bit her lip and swiped the answer button, "Hello~"
"Are you up, darling?" Even with such a term of endearnt, Finn didn’t find it cheesy at all.
"I’m having breakfast."
"Didn’t we agree to have breakfast together? Did you forget?" Finn’s voice was gentle, without a hint of bla.
Hailey softly replied, "Today is my grandpa’s 80th birthday. Dad took the day off. The three of us are planning to head out." In her heart, she was filled with apology.
Dennis sipped his milk, listening calmly.
Finn was a bit surprised by the news, "Did you just find out?" Why didn’t she ntion it last night?
His tone changed, and Hailey felt very sorry, but she couldn’t say much in front of her parents.
Finn quickly understood; of course, her grandpa’s birthday was more important.
"It’s no big deal." He promptly reassured her, "Go to your grandpa’s first. We’ll find another day for you to see grandpa."
Was he angry?
Hailey didn’t dare to ask. She felt he probably wasn’t too happy, despite not showing it.
"Yeah, yeah." She didn’t know what else to say, with both her parents watching.
"Wish your grandpa a happy birthday." Finn said to her.
She smiled slightly, "Thank you."
"Bye-bye, we’ll talk again when you have ti."
It was Finn who hung up the call. Hailey felt a bit lost, wanting to explain the sudden situation to him quickly.
After all, they’d made an appointnt, and anyone would be upset if it got canceled unexpectedly.

When Lydia Ingram’s car ca to a stop, Grace White, who had been waiting, approached, "Lydia!"
Seeing her, the man’s face fell, "What are you doing here?"
Joe, seeing this, quickly walked toward the lobby, avoiding bothering their conversation.
"I haven’t slept all night. I have so things weighing on my mind that are really hard to bear. I wanted to talk to you." The woman’s eyes were pleading.
Lydia Ingram’s face showed nothing pleasant, "There’s nothing to talk about between us. You know all too well what kind of man I am. It’s impossible for you to get anything significant from ."
"But who else do you have besides ?" Grace White asked unwillingly, "Ariel Chandler is dead."
Not far away, a red Bentley ca to a stop. Monica Usher got out of the car, coincidentally catching Lydia Ingram entangled with a woman.
As she got closer, she clearly saw the woman’s face.

Lydia went to see her last night, and now they’re tangled up early in the morning here.
It wasn’t that Monica felt jealous; she just found it utterly disgusting!
Monica stood still, just watching them. Lydia’s face was as dark as it could be, filled with impatience.
Soon enough, Grace White turned and left, while Lydia also stepped toward the company lobby.

Upstairs, Monica walked straight into the CEO’s office, approaching Lydia Ingram, she asked, "Where is the Grace White I asked you to deal with?"
The sudden question made the man slightly stunned, raising his eyes to et her gaze.
He had just t Grace White, hadn’t he? Did she notice?
