To lissa rce, this is simply a dream.
The person in front of her is too unreal...
"Finn Morgan...is that you?"
lissa’s voice is extrely soft, afraid that a louder sound would scare him away or shatter this dream.
"Yes."
Finn Morgan sat down on the chair by the bed, looked at her pale, haggard face, and comforted her, "Things will get better, you have to cooperate with the doctor and regulate your emotions."
lissa knew there was no hope.
But hearing Finn Morgan say this, she was still willing to believe, "Mm-hmm."
"Finn, do I look really ugly like this?" lissa was suddenly a little embarrassed, "I’m not wearing makeup, my complexion must be bad, right?"
She didn’t want him to see an ugly version of herself.
"Next ti you co, can you let know in advance?" lissa wanted to present her most beautiful side.
Finn couldn’t help but feel a pang of sadness, "Okay."
Just watching her like this made him recall many things from their childhood.
Today, they didn’t talk about feelings; lissa didn’t say she loved him, and the atmosphere was very harmonious.
"Cough, cough...cough, cough!!"
lissa felt an itch in her throat and covered her lips as she coughed, feeling particularly uncomfortable in her lungs.
Finn quickly helped her turn to her side and pulled out a few tissues to cover her mouth.
lissa grabbed his arm, coughing so hard it felt as if her lungs would co out!
"Cough, cough!! Cough!"
"Doctor!!" Finn shouted, turning his head.
But lissa held his arm tightly, "Don’t...don’t call the doctor..." She didn’t want to miss this chance to be alone, didn’t want a third person coming into the ward.
Finn saw the striking blood stains on the tissue!
And after two low coughs, lissa gradually cald down, lying back on the bed, weak, with blood on the corners of her lips.
Finn threw away the bloody tissues and took a few more to wipe the blood from the corners of her lips.
lissa opened her mouth, gasping for breath, once again grabbing Finn’s arm, frowning as she looked at him, "Finn... I don’t want to die... I’m so scared."
"You won’t die." Finn didn’t shake her hand off, but gently held her hand.
His eyes were firm as he told her—
"The doctor’s diagnosis does not represent the final outco; human willpower is a mysterious strength."
"And now with dical science so advanced, every pill you take, every drip you receive, will work in your body to help drive the illness away."
lissa shook her head, feeling very sad... She knew she couldn’t overco it, she knew it was sothing even Dr. Shelby couldn’t help with.
She knew this was the arrangent of fate.
"Finn, spend more ti with ..." lissa just looked at him, not even willing to blink.
At the end of the hallway outside the ward, in front of the terrace.
Claudia bent her legs and knelt in front of Hailey Hale.
"Auntie!! What are you doing?! Get up!!"
The young girl was so surprised, Hailey hurried to support her!
"Miss Hale, could you let Finn and lissa have a wedding?" As a mother, Claudia just wanted to fulfill her daughter’s last wish.
It seed as though if she didn’t agree, Claudia wouldn’t get up.
Hailey bent down and held her arms, "Auntie, I ntioned this to Finn just now on the way over, and he was very against it."
"Can you persuade him more, please?" Claudia hoped in her, "He will definitely listen to what you say! You must have a way!"
"Miss Hale, lissa is dying; she can’t compete with you for Finn anymore... Please give her a chance to be a bride! I’m begging you!"
"Auntie, please get up first." Hailey was anxious, what would it look like to be kneeling in the hospital?
