Mia Lane didn’t stay there for long. Finn Morgan hadn’t been to the company for a while, so there were so matters she needed to handle.
"Finn, take good care of her." Before leaving, Mia Lane said to Finn Morgan, "Call if anything happens." She was worried too.
"Alright." Finn Morgan gave her a reassuring look.
On her way back to the company, Mia Lane checked her phone, which was filled with news about Dennis Hale and Lydia Ingram, overwhelming her.
She casually skimd through it, then turned her gaze out the window, her brows slightly furrowed, feeling heavy-hearted.
The Kingston Group’s building stood tall and towering.
Mia Lane returned to the company.
She took the elevator upstairs and walked straight into the CEO’s office.
Justin Kingston was sitting at the desk, having just finished a video conference. He looked up and asked, "How are things over there?"
"Hailey is not doing well." Mia Lane’s expression changed, reporting with heartache, "She can’t accept the reality all at once and has been crying continuously."
This seed to be within Justin Kingston’s expectations.
Justin Kingston stood up and walked towards her, holding her hand and putting his arm around her shoulder. "So growth requires facing it yourself. After enduring, she will be reborn."
"Yesterday, she was happily holding the wedding, and today, her father is under arrest." Her eyes lowered as she said sadly, "We’ve dragged her from heaven to hell."
Then she looked up, "Was the net cast too quickly?" blurting out her thoughts.
Justin Kingston looked at his wife, with a stern and righteous expression, "Rember, it wasn’t us who dragged her from heaven to hell, it was Dennis Hale himself."
Justin Kingston said, "From the mont he veered off course, he should have known that this day would co sooner or later."
Mia Lane understood this truth too, but... thinking of Hailey’s look, she still felt sad.
anwhile, the reporters who got the news had blocked The Hale Family manor!
Fortunately, Finn Morgan perceived the situation’s danger and imdiately rushed to close the living room door!
Hailey Hale glanced out the floor-to-ceiling window; that dense crowd, each holding up caras and microphones, just wanting to rub salt into others’ wounds!
"Damn it!"
She cursed and went upstairs.
Finn Morgan quickly gave Sister May a look, "Take good care of Mom!"
"Yes, sir." Sister May shouted at the silhouette that chased upstairs, "I’ll leave Miss to you!"
Upstairs, Hailey returned to her bedroom and sat by the window.
She hugged her knees, coldly staring at the crowd downstairs who only fed off others’ misery!
The reporters had already broken into the yard, shouting and making noises downstairs, even banging on doors and windows, hoping The Hale Family would agree to an interview!
"For the sake of traffic, they’re ruthless! They’re not even human!" Hailey cursed bitterly.
Finn Morgan squatted beside her, holding her shoulder, and when he found soone pointing a cara upstairs, he imdiately drew the curtains!
He must protect her well.
Hailey Hale’s tears rolled down continuously, hugging her knees and lowering her head, she helplessly asked, "Do my mom and I also have to endure the public’s scorn?"
"No, you didn’t know anything, you’re both victims." Finn Morgan comforted her, "Ti will dilute everything and will reveal the truth. I’ll call soone to clear the reporters away."
Saying this, Finn Morgan took out his phone.
He quickly dialed a string of numbers and explained the situation.
"But once one batch leaves, another will co." Hailey Hale murmured.

Finn Morgan pulled her tightly into his arms, and she started to release her emotions again, crying loudly...
