Half his face was hidden in shadow, and he scanned the surroundings with sharp eyes. After a mont, he looked at the gathering crowd of corpses and spoke faintly.
"The surrounding area has been cleaned too thoroughly lately!"
"There should be only these left."

If the golden seed hadn’t been born in the Sea of Consciousness, and with Zheng Yi’s special focus, concentrating all his spirit there, he might have dismissed it as re illusion.
But in his perception, the golden seed did indeed gain a faint, almost imperceptible hint of brightness. Still, this enhancent was so minute that without deliberate observation, it might have gone unnoticed.
