As "The Elephant Man" approached its final performances in Booth Theatre, New York, Lucas remained fully committed to his role as rrick. The play was set to conclude on February 21, 2015, after a successful run.

anwhile, clips of Lucas's performance continued to circulate online, sparking ongoing discussions:

"I still can't understand how Lucas is able to contort his body like that. It's beyond ."

Another replied: "Right? I've watched that clip like 50 tis and I still don't get how he does it without hurting himself."

On Reddit, the discussions were equally passionate:

"Saw the play last week. Lucas's performance is even more incredible in person. The way he maintains that posture for hours is insane."

"My friend's an orthopedist and she's baffled. Says it shouldn't be physically possible to hold those positions for so long without damage."

"I heard he doesn't use any prosthetics. Is that true? Because if so, holy crap."

Even as the play neared its end, the buzz around Lucas's performance showed no signs of dying down.

His portrayal of rrick had beco a benchmark for physical transformation in theater, sparking discussions about the limits of the human body and the depths of actorly commitnt.

On February 21, 2015, Lucas and the production took their final bow. The audience was visibly moved, rrick's story having touched them deeply.

As the last act concluded, the theater erupted in thunderous applause.

"Bravo, Lucas!" soone shouted from the balcony.

"Thank you for bringing rrick to life!" another voice called out.

Backstage, Neil waited anxiously, accompanied by a physical therapist and an orthopedic specialist. Weeks ago, when Neil learned about Lucas's extre contortions, he'd insisted on having dical professionals check Lucas after each performance.

As Lucas walked backstage, still emotional from the final show and chatting with his co-stars, he spotted Neil and the dical team.

"Really, Neil?" Lucas said, a mix of amusent and exasperation in his voice. "I told you, I'm fine."

Neil shrugged, concern evident in his eyes. "Humor , alright? You've been twisting yourself into a pretzel for months. Just let them check you over."

The physical therapist stepped forward. "It won't take long, Mr. Knight. We just want to ensure there's no lasting damage."

Lucas sighed but nodded, knowing arguing would be futile. As the specialists began their examination, he couldn't help but feel touched by Neil's concern, even if he found it a bit excessive.

"So," Lucas said to Neil as the therapist worked, "what did you think of the final show?"

Neil's worried expression softened into a smile. "Kid, you knocked it out of the park. As always."

Neil's expression shifted from pride to concern. "But I've got to say, Lucas, the way you contort yourself for that role... it's both fascinating and terrifying. How do you manage it without hurting yourself?"

Lucas just smiled. His Mind Workshop, his cheat, had been working wonders, allowing him to push his body to incredible limits. But he couldn't share that, even with Neil. Instead, he just smiled and shrugged.

The doctor finished his examination, a puzzled look on his face. "Well, Mr. Knight, as always, you seem to be in perfect health despite the extre contortions. It's quite remarkable. However, I'd still recomnd a thorough check-up at the hospital. We should do X-rays, an MRI, and a full range of motion tests, just to be absolutely certain there's no underlying damage."

Lucas suppressed a sigh. He really didn't want to go through all that, knowing it was unnecessary. But Neil was looking at him with such concern that he felt his resolve crumbling.

"Co on, Lucas," Neil pleaded. "Just to be safe?"

Lucas sighed, finally relenting. "Alright, alright. I'll go for the check-up. But I'm telling you, it's going to be a waste of ti."

Neil's shoulders sagged with relief. "I know it's a hassle, but it'll put all our minds at ease."

Lucas pulled into the driveway of his $2 million ho, the California sun glinting off the windows. As he stepped out of the car, he spotted Jennifer waiting on the porch, her face a mix of concern and relief.

"Hey," she said, pulling him into a hug. "I saw those clips from the play. It was amazing, but... God, Lucas, the way you contorted yourself. Are you okay?"

Lucas gave her a reassuring smile. "I'm fine, really. But if it'll make you feel better, I'm headed to the hospital for a check-up. Neil insisted."

Jennifer's eyes lit up. "Mind if I tag along? I'd feel better seeing the results for myself."

Lucas chuckled, shaking his head. "Sure, why not?"

At the hospital, Lucas's celebrity status and financial ans worked in his favor. He breezed through the typically arduous process of tests and consultations. X-rays, MRIs, and a battery of other examinations were conducted with impressive efficiency.

The Arican healthcare system, notorious for its high costs and often lengthy wait tis, revealed its other face - a haven for those with deep pockets. For patients like Lucas, money smoothed away the usual frustrations, transforming a potentially days-long ordeal into a streamlined, almost luxurious experience.

Within hours, the results were in. To the amazent of the dical staff, Lucas showed no signs of physical strain or damage, despite the extre contortions his role had demanded.

As the doctor delivered the good news, Lucas suppressed a knowing smile, his thoughts briefly flicking to his secret "Mind Workshop" advantage.

Jennifer's relief was palpable as they left the hospital.

As they left the hospital, Lucas was unusually quiet. Jennifer glanced at him, concern evident in her voice.

"Why the long face?" she asked.

Lucas sighed heavily. "I hate this."

Jennifer blinked, surprised. "Hate what?"

"This healthcare system," Lucas said bluntly. "It favors the rich. I hate it, but I'm also benefiting from it. It doesn't sit right with ."

Jennifer's eyebrows rose. "Oh... Well, don't worry about it too much. It's not like you can change the whole system."

Lucas just shook his head, his expression troubled.

A tense silence fell between them as they walked to the car, Lucas's words hanging in the air.
