Luofeng was sweating profusely. He wasn’t used to manual labor—the only tis he usually exerted himself like this were in bed with a woman or at the gym. Still, seeing the children’s happy faces made him feel his efforts were truly aningful.
"Big Brother, wipe your sweat!"
Luofeng quickly took the tissue handed to him by a seven or eight-year-old child. The child seed quite shy and a little awkward.

After the two left, a little boy holding a quarter of an apple ran over. He placed it on Luofeng’s table and quickly scampered away, then stood a short distance away, watching Luofeng with an expectant look.
Luofeng looked at the little boy and, under his expectant gaze, took a bite. "Thank you, little friend!"
The little boy smiled and left.
Less than ten seconds later, another little boy ca over. He placed a toy car beside Luofeng, looking very reluctant as he departed.
Luofeng picked up the toy car and rolled it on the table a few tis. Then he stood up, caught up with the child, and returned the toy car. "Thank you, little friend," Luofeng said, crouching in front of him and patting his shoulder. "Here’s your car back. I hope you have a happy Mid-Autumn Festival."
The little boy hesitated for a mont before saying, "Big Brother, we had a lot of fun today! I really like the Mid-Autumn Festival!"
"Good, being happy is what matters!" Luofeng said with a smile.
Bai Lu and Su Yuanyuan had returned by then and quietly witnessed this exchange.
"Big Brother, next ti... the Mid-Autumn Festival after next... will you co again?" the little boy asked, looking up at Luofeng cautiously. He had truly enjoyed the day, with its mooncakes, apples, and the new toy cars and books.
Luofeng nodded. "Of course, I’ll co next year and the year after that. But little buddy, what’s your na?"
