Luofeng and his group naturally had a goal in mind, so they didn’t look at any other models, heading directly to check out the M8 Thunder Edition.
There were two such vehicles in stock: one in BMW’s signature Bayside Blue and another in Donington Grey.
Visually, Luofeng actually thought the Donington Grey looked a bit better; its texture was much superior. In recent years, after BMW moved the noble Aetos Blue into the regular lineup, they redefined the colors for high-end models with the high-gloss Bayside Blue and Donington Grey. The best-looking version of the latest BMW 7 Series was precisely that particular shade of grey.
However, neither blue nor grey were colors Luofeng particularly liked. The blue was too bright and dazzling, and the grey didn’t suit Duanmu Yunji.
"Do you have any other colors available here?" Luofeng asked the sales associate.
The polite BMW sales lady replied, "We have a dealership in Golden Harbour. Over there, they have Barcelona Blue and Dark Silver."
"Alright then, let’s go straight over there and take a look!" Luofeng nodded.
The group headed towards Golden Harbour, an area they were all quite familiar with. The traffic in Capital City, even after the morning rush hour, was still tolerable. Just half an hour later, they arrived.
At the BMW store there, they saw the models in Dark Silver and Barcelona Blue.
At first glance, Luofeng set his eyes on the Barcelona Blue. This shade of blue wasn’t like the one they had seen earlier; it was much lighter, relatively more understated, and very pleasant to look at.
After so bargaining... In fact, there was no concession on the price. However, regarding the discount, they ultimately agreed on a six-year/150,000-kiloter comprehensive free premium maintenance plan.

Of course, on top of that, they needed to add a ten percent purchase tax, a ten percent luxury car tax, and insurance fees. With a 2.2 million list price, the on-road cost would be 2.9 million. This price was even more expensive than the used Ferrari 812 from before.
"Swipe the card!" Luofeng didn’t suffer from indecisiveness; if he liked it, he’d buy buy buy. And since he had Duanmu Yunji’s identification card with him, he could proceed with the formalities right away.
"Let use the custom ’License Plate Exchange’ Prop Card!" Luofeng thought.
This Prop Card is just like the one I used for my Ferrari 488 license plate. I can completely customize it, he mused.
And Luofeng’s choice was definitely Beijing A.YJ520.
YJ? Simple enough. It stands for Yunji. Alas, her na has four characters, so nothing can be done about that. If it were a two-character na, I could have put her full na directly on the plate, Luofeng considered.
After Luofeng completed the formalities, Chen Dali said, "Luofeng, I’ve secured an aweso license plate for you. Your luck is just unbelievable! Getting YJ520? What do you make of your luck?"

"Stop teasing . A plate like that, as I said, is purely down to Luofeng’s luck. It’s a stroke of fortune that can’t be sought after," Chen Dali said, pursing his lips helplessly.
Thanks to Chen Dali’s connections, everything from registration to getting the plates was smooth sailing. By 12 o’clock noon, everything was sorted out, and even the green vehicle title had been received. The license plate was mounted instantly.
Luofeng drove the BMW M8, painted in Barcelona Blue, alone.
He received a call from Duanmu Yunji.
"Brother Feng, are you still busy?" Duanmu Yunji inquired.
"Why have you started calling ’Brother’ too?"
Luofeng checked the ti; it was 12:00 PM. When they got up and left separately that morning, they had agreed to et for lunch. Duanmu Yunji had returned to their little ho and, finding Luofeng not back yet, called to check in.
"Can’t I call you ’Brother’?" Duanmu Yunji rolled her eyes.
"Hahaha, alright then. I’m already on my way ho, about twenty minutes out. Go change your clothes first; we’re arranging Stewed Chicken for lunch today!" Luofeng grinned mischievously.
Duanmu Yunji’s face turned red. She demurred with a Coquettish Hmm, saying, "It’s the middle of sumr in Daxia, who eats Stewed Chicken?"
"Aww, let’s boost our energy," Luofeng smirked again, hinting at what happened yesterday. "Alright, wait obediently for . Twenty minutes at most. Hurry up and change. Oh, and Chen Dali and the others are waiting, so don’t take too long..."
"Hmm, hmm!" Duanmu Yunji nodded.
In less than twenty minutes, the brothers, following Luofeng, returned to Cloud View International. That blue BMW, a luxury car worth nearly 3 million, was parked right at the entrance of the lobby.
Luofeng called Duanmu Yunji. "Yunji, are you ready?"
"Have you all arrived?"
"Yeah, we’re in the entrance hall. Co on down if you’re ready," Luofeng replied.
"On my way!" Duanmu Yunji’s tone was very cheerful as she nodded. I really enjoy being with Luofeng. Even after not seeing him for just a morning, I miss him terribly, she thought.
In less than three minutes, Duanmu Yunji took the elevator down and arrived at the entrance hall.
Luofeng moved forward to greet her, affectionately taking Duanmu Yunji’s tender hand. "Co, Yunji. I have a nice Gift for you today."
"Huh?" Duanmu Yunji was surprised.
Without saying much, Luofeng smiled and led Duanmu Yunji out of the entrance hall.
Suddenly, she spotted it in a parking space: a blue BMW M8. As for why she knew it was an M8 at a glance, that was, of course, because she had encountered the car back at Golden Harbour.
However, when Duanmu Yunji saw the license plate again, her face imdiately reddened.
A YJ520 license plate? What could that possibly an? Could it be any more obvious? Even the simplest woman would understand by now!
