Luofeng parked the car at a self-service parking spot and asked, "Do you want to get your luggage out?"
"No!" Shangguan Feier responded. "We're going straight to school in a bit!" After all, Grandma was now living in their room at ho.
"Alright then!" Luofeng nodded. He was inwardly puzzled. Wasn't their school starting next week? Now that they had arrived at their building, weren't they even going to their own apartnt?
Luofeng carried costics in his left hand and alcohol and cigarettes in his right. Shangguan Feier and Shangguan Shui'er led the way. Their ho was in an old building, not part of a modern residential complex, but in an open neighborhood. Along the way, many people greeted the Shangguan sisters and glanced curiously at Luofeng.
Following the Shangguan sisters, Luofeng climbed the stairs. These old buildings almost never had elevators.
Shangguan Feier took the initiative to say, "Our ho is on the fourth floor!"

Liu Shanshan smiled and said, "Happy New Year, Luofeng! Co in quickly!"
Shangguan Feier and Shangguan Shui'er went into the house ahead of him. As Luofeng reached the doorway, he first passed over the gift bags. "Sorry, Auntie. Shui Er only told when we were already on our way, so I didn't prepare any proper gifts. Please forgive !"

"Grandma, I *am* Shui Er!" Shangguan Feier continued the charade.
"Yes, Grandma, *I'm* Fei Er!" Shangguan Shui'er chid in from the side, also pretending.
"You're Fei Er, and *you're* Shui Er!" Grandma stated her answer once more.
Luofeng was curious. "Grandma, how do you tell them apart?"
"Their slippers are different colors. When they ca in earlier, they told who was who. Now I can tell them apart by looking at their slippers!" Grandma explained.
"..."
Luofeng, Shangguan Shui'er, and Shangguan Feier were all speechless.
It was so simple. Luofeng had thought Grandma possessed so unique skill of discernnt. Turns out, she just looked at their slippers?
Luofeng glanced at Shangguan Shui'er's and Shangguan Feier's slippers; indeed, they were different styles and colors.
So, after all their efforts to create a charade, they were betrayed by their slippers?
COUGH, COUGH, COUGH! Luofeng coughed, clearly embarrassed. He had so confidently claid he could tell them apart! And on his first eting with their family, he mistook the younger sister for the older one?
