All of you, co at together.
The words stunned the entire field.
Everyone, including Lu Shangfeng, stared at Lin Mu in astonishnt. They had no idea where he got his confidence from.
But on the whole field, only Han Xiaochuan was not surprised in the slightest. With Lin Mu’s current Cultivation Level, the six military zone instructors weren’t enough to challenge him, even if a few more joined in. It could even be said that Lin Mu fighting them was nothing short of bullying.
However, the people from the six military zones didn’t know this. They only felt that Lin Mu was being far too arrogant.
"Instructor Lin, do you have any idea what you’re saying?" the instructor from Army Blade Camp demanded, his expression turning ugly. He felt utterly humiliated.
The instructors from Mad Battle Camp and Blood Fiend Camp felt the sa, their faces tinged with indignation.
Challenge them all at once? If they really did that, wouldn’t it be mortifying if word got out? Losing would be shaful, and winning would bring no glory.
"What’s wrong? Scared?" Lin Mu asked, looking at them.
He genuinely didn’t want to waste ti. Lin Mu was fully confident he would win the military competition. Moreover, the agreent with the Martial Alliance was in just two days. After sorting things out here, he had to go to Demon City to retrieve Qin Luoli. He simply did not want to waste his ti here.
"Instructor Lin certainly has a commanding presence," Wu Liang, the instructor from War Dragon Camp, said at this mont. "Since you want to fight, I have no objections, of course."
Everyone looked towards Wu Liang. They knew his personal strength and his status in the army were both extrely high, so no one spoke up after hearing his words.
"However," Wu Liang hesitated for a mont before continuing, "right now, our troops are in the middle of the competition. If we’re going to fight, let’s wait until the competition is over. How about it?"
Wu Liang directed his question to Lin Mu. Being able to defeat Ruan Shan in a single move proved that this Divine Machine Camp instructor was quite powerful. Wu Liang also wanted to trade a few blows with him to see who was stronger. But the most important thing now was to see if Divine Machine Camp truly had the ability to challenge all six other camps.
"I think Instructor Wu makes a good point," Lu Shangfeng chid in. "As the instructors of the seven military zones, we old folks are certainly interested in seeing you all have a match. But right now is the competition. Let’s discuss everything else after it’s over."
In truth, Lu Shangfeng was giving Lin Mu a way out. After all, wanting to take on six opponents at once seed far too exaggerated to him. If Lin Mu won, the six military zones would be greatly disgraced. And if Lin Mu lost, it would reflect poorly on Xiao Xuan. By the ti the competition was over, Lu Shangfeng believed Lin Mu would be too embarrassed to bring it up again. In his view, it was completely impossible for Divine Machine Camp to challenge six military zones on its own.
"Hmph, if you want to fight, then let’s fight! Stop dithering," Ruan Shan huffed, clearly irritated. "Since you want a one-on-six, I have absolutely no objections."
Clearly, Ruan Shan was still nursing a grudge over his defeat. The chance to team up with the other instructors and beat Lin Mu is a rare opportunity. This kid is too arrogant. A joint effort could suppress his overbearing attitude.
"Let’s do as Elder Lu says," Han Xiaochuan finally spoke up.
He couldn’t help but feel a mix of amusent and exasperation. This Lin Mu really knows how to cause trouble. The soldiers below are still competing, yet here he is, an instructor, picking a fight. How embarrassing would it be if word of this got out?
The mont Han Xiaochuan spoke, even Ruan Shan dared not insist.
"Hmph. Kid, I’ll deal with you later!" Ruan Shan shot Lin Mu a cold glare, taking the opportunity to recover from his injuries.
Lin Mu remained noncommittal.
Seeing him fall silent, the leaders from the major military zones breathed a collective sigh of relief. For so reason, they all felt this instructor from Divine Machine Camp was a massive troublemaker. One wrong move and he might just poke a hole in the sky.
On the training field, everyone was lost in their own thoughts.
Amid the entire debate, only one person had remained silent: the instructor of Jiaolong Camp, Wang Ye. Throughout the process, he had been observing Lin Mu with a faint smile, his thoughts a mystery.
「In the great mountains.」
Several units moved swiftly through the jungle like flying arrows.
"Stop!"
Suddenly, Zhang Feng, the forr instructor of Wolf Slayer Camp, halted. Ever since Ruan Shan had taken his position, Zhang Feng had been reassigned as a team leader within the camp. He was participating in this military competition for one reason: to wash away his prior humiliation. A few days ago, Lin Mu had led Divine Machine Camp and nearly wiped out Wolf Slayer Camp, a mory that had beco a thorn in Zhang Feng’s side. Because of this, he had personally requested Lu Kai to let him fight Divine Machine Camp.
This was his only chance, and he would absolutely not let it slip away.
This ti, several mbers of Wolf Slayer Camp had been replaced, as the others still hadn’t recovered from their injuries. But the presence of these new n was equally formidable.
"Teacher Zhang, what is it?" one of the Wolf Slayer Camp mbers asked, seeing his hand signal.
Zhang Feng’s expression was grave. "Sothing isn’t right."
As the forr instructor, Zhang Feng’s personal strength and his grasp of battlefield tactics were extrely precise. Nearly ten minutes had passed since the competition began. While the path they chose up the mountain didn’t overlap with other teams, they had stayed as close as possible to Divine Machine Camp. Strangely, however, he hadn’t seen a single one of their soldiers.
This was completely illogical from any standpoint. Victory in the military competition wasn’t just about capturing the flag in the shortest ti. It was about eliminating as many other teams as possible along the way. Only this could truly demonstrate the strength of each military zone’s secret unit.
Every team participating in the competition had this goal, and Zhang Feng was no exception. His sole purpose was to defeat Divine Machine Camp.
"It seems they’ve figured out our objective," Zhang Feng sneered, issuing orders to his n. "Monkey, take thirty n and circle around to the front. Block Divine Machine Camp’s path! Weasel, you take thirty n and flank from the left. Don’t let a single one of them escape! As for the right, leave it to ."
Determination flashed in his eyes. "Whether Wolf Slayer Camp can redeem its honor depends entirely on this!"
"Yes, sir!" the n of Wolf Slayer Camp roared, a fierce battle lust igniting in their eyes.
"Rember, regroup in ten minutes! Don’t screw this up!" Zhang Feng’s eyes glinted sharply. "This ti, I want Divine Machine Camp completely annihilated!"
More than ten minutes later, the mbers of Wolf Slayer Camp were stunned when they regrouped at the designated location.
They hadn’t seen a single person from Divine Machine Camp.
"Teacher Zhang, we found no one!" Monkey reported, his voice tinged with frustration.
"My side is clear too."
A flicker of confusion crossed Zhang Feng’s eyes. How could that be? Given their speed, Divine Machine Camp couldn’t possibly have gotten ahead of them. Based on his calculations, this was the only path they could have taken up the mountain. Could they have not ascended at all?
"Wrong!"
Zhang Feng’s expression suddenly changed, and he yelled, "Everyone, retreat!"
However, before Wolf Slayer Camp could react, twenty figures burst out from the surrounding woods, completely encircling them.
A man nicknad Monkey stepped out from behind a tree, a sly grin on his face as he looked at the mbers of Wolf Slayer Camp.
"Surrender. You’re surrounded."
