The once-lively amusent park had beco a desolate ruin shrouded in mist. Deep within that suffocating fog, the noblest hero of myth had completely fallen and descended like a demon.
"To encounter a primordial calamity older and more abhorrent than Olympus's gods in the Holy Grail War… I never expected this."
A low, hoarse voice echoed from the mist.
Heracles… or more precisely, his current na was Alcides. The original na ant "Glory of Hera." But the proud, powerful Queen Hera had tornted him all his life, finally cursing him with madness so he slew his own wife and children. After Bazdilot forcibly corrupted him with the Holy Grail's black mud and Command Seals, the hatred toward gods deeply rooted inside him ignited completely. He cast aside the title that symbolized the gods' plaything and reclaid the original na he bore as a pure human.
Even with his eyes covered by rough cloth, he clearly sensed the aura emanating from the blue-haired girl before him—an Earth Mother Goddess aura sharing the sa origin as Queen Hera of the Heavens, yet far older, deeper, and belonging to the special "Mother" attribute.
For Alcides, this was the worst possible provocation.
The instant he noticed, his killing intent as an Avenger erupted like a volcano. He took a heavy step forward.
Tiamat shielded Matou Yuu behind her, delicate brows slightly furrowed, a faint dissatisfaction coloring her ethereal voice. "I have no intention of fighting today."
She had finally been able to go out with her child and enjoy a wonderful day in this lively world… She absolutely refused to let this precious mory be ruined by the filthy, foul-slling creature in front of her.
However—
"No will to fight?"
Alcides felt as though he had heard the greatest joke in the world. He slowly raised his head; a cold sneer appeared on his veiled face.
"You've been releasing such nauseatingly intense divinity without the slightest attempt to hide it, and now you shalessly claim you don't want to fight?"
"Enemy's servant—if you refuse to reveal your true form from beneath that false shell, I'll drag it out by force!"
BOOM!
Alcides suddenly spread both arms and gripped the enormous bow with both hands. As he drew it, his bulging muscles swelled instantly; intense black-mud magical energy gathered madly on the string.
The bowstring vibrated. An arrow wrapped in black curse and crimson killing intent transford into lightning, tore through the night sky, and shot ferociously toward Tiamat!
Yet just as that fatal red light was about to pierce the girl, the empty space beside her suddenly distorted.
The Sea of Life erupted like a breached dam, forming a bottomless water curtain that stood in their way.
The fierce arrow that should have easily pierced ordinary defenses was completely swallowed without a sound the mont it touched the dark-red tide. The Sea of Life's current did not stop—it transford into a colossal, all-encompassing wave of overwhelming force and surged back toward Alcides!
Faced with this crushing wave of life, Alcides' combat instincts scread. He stomped the ground and launched himself skyward like a cannonball, landing on the steel fra of the halted giant Ferris wheel.
He looked down at the seemingly harmless blue-haired girl on the ground. After repelling him, the surging wave of life ceased expanding and remained around Matou Yuu like an absolute defense.
In the distant abandoned factory, Bazdilot observed everything coldly through magic.
"She seems hesitant to act freely because she's worried about the weak Master behind her, Alcides," he said emotionlessly into the communicator. "Magus are creatures that discard everything for their goals—they don't deserve to be called human… If you want her to move, dispose of that human first."
Almost at the sa instant, Alcides' leg muscles on the Ferris wheel exploded with power.
THUD!
The 100-ter iron Ferris wheel twisted and deford under his superhuman strength. Using the reaction, Alcides leaped into the air and fully drew the massive bow once more. His dark magic instantly beca countless arrows raining toward the target.
"If you won't act, then I'll crush your Master first, naless goddess!"
The bowstring vibrated like a raging storm. Crimson arrow light illuminated the entire night sky—like a destructive teor shower descending toward Matou Yuu's location!
At that exact mont, Tiamat—who had been suppressing herself all this ti—finally seed enraged.
How dare you hurt my child right in front of his mother!
"AAAAAAAAA!!!"
Singing a soul-shaking, primordial lant, the girl raised her head. In that song—as if born at the dawn of planetary creation—her small body was enveloped in dazzling light and rapidly grew taller and fuller, transforming at visible speed into a mature form radiating powerful motherhood.
Her slightly wavy blue hair whipped violently like a windless waterfall. The once-calm flow of earthly life, sensing the Creator's wrath, instantly erupted into fierce rage.
RUMBLE!
The next instant, the flow of life beca a colossal tsunami that surged skyward and violently collided with the crimson arrow rain filling the heavens.
There was still no loud explosion—because the Sea of Life is the final destination that envelops all things and simultaneously erases all things.
Alcides' teor shower was absorbed and swallowed the mont it touched the tide, devoured by the principle of creation dwelling within.
"Hmph… Finally getting serious?"
Alcides flipped in mid-air and landed, a bloodthirsty cold smile on his face. "Excellent… this is getting interesting! Speak your true na, naless goddess!"
He received no answer.
"Not going to reply? Then…"
Before he finished, an indescribable chill shot up his spine to the back of his skull. He whipped his head around, staring in the direction of the suffocating pressure.
The tattered cloth wrapped around his eyes—symbolizing resistance to divine glory—quietly unraveled in that irresistible tremor.
Eyes filled with vengeful rage contracted violently from extre shock. He stared upward at the sky in disbelief.
At almost the sa mont, Bazdilot—who had been secretly observing from the abandoned factory—froze as if struck by lightning. The half-burnt Cuban cigar between his fingers had gone out unnoticed.
This mafia executive who had always scorned human life now stood speechless, completely stunned. He stared at the terrifying image on the monitor, breath caught in his throat.
At so unknown point, the flow of life had swallowed the entire amusent park like a tsunami. Not only that—the night sky above the park itself had been completely distorted by that imnse magical energy.
The Sea of Life symbolized the primordial state and floated upside-down in the air like a sea vortex, defying the world's physical laws. The boundary between heaven and earth seed covered by it.
It was a terrifying, apocalyptic scene that would even freeze a Magus's brain.
A deathly silence lingered in the abandoned factory for a long ti. After the fallen cigar finally burned out, the man swallowed hard and muttered in a dry voice.
"No way… Such an outrageous monster… is she really a Servant in this war?"
…
Crystal Hill Hotel – Terrace Front
"Hahahahahaha!"
Uncontrollable laughter echoed across the hotel's top floor. The Golden King lounged in a chair, gazing down at the bustling night view of the city. He seed to have witnessed sothing amusing and laughed so hard tears threatened to spill.
"Your Majesty… has sothing interesting happened?"
The young master standing in the sofa's shadow lowered her head respectfully, fear and confusion on her face. In Tiné's mory, this extrely arrogant Hero King rarely displayed such maniacal joy.
"An interesting story? No, Tiné—this isn't an interesting story at all. It's an unprecedented farce."
Gilgash downed a glass of red wine in one gulp, eyes filled with mockery and delight.
"Modern good-for-nothings who don't even understand magic's essence dare to set a trap to hunt that 'Sea'… utterly ridiculous."
"Sea…?" Tiné hesitated, clearly not grasping the word's aning yet.
Gilgash had no intention of explaining. He casually tossed his precious golden goblet aside and stood. Outside the suite, golden ripples appeared. Beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, a divine shining ark of gold and erald slowly manifested in the night sky.
"Your Majesty, do you intend to act personally?" Tiné asked in surprise, sensing the imnse magical fluctuation.
Gilgash slightly raised his noble chin and looked toward the amusent park. Night wind tousled his disheveled golden hair; a haughty smile curved his lips.
"Since those Mongrels are testing the Calamity, even I, the King, must remain vigilant… I, the King, cannot miss this splendid spectacle."
"Tiné—don't hold back on magic. Open all your circuits to ."
The Golden King boarded the celestial vehicle Vimana. His arrogant declaration rang through the night sky.
"The entertainnt I'm about to provide must not be ruined!"
