Xia Yinian went missing, a fact yet unknown to the people currently on the cruise ship.
Gu Beicheng and Gu Lingqian each led a team deep into the forest in search.
But the girl seed to have vanished into thin air, with scores of searchers unable to find the slightest trace of her.
"Based on the information those people provided, Seventh Young Master, I suspect Miss Niannian got lost in the forest."
Chi He had been following Gu Beicheng closely, equally fraught with worry.
But why would Miss Niannian enter the forest? And even so, how could she be there alone?
"The girl who claims to be Miss Niannian’s friend is now looking with Young Master Ling’s people."
Gu Beicheng still did not speak, striding ahead.
It was late at night, and there were no lights in the forest, only flashlights to illuminate the path around.
But under the hazy moonlight, even the flashlights failed to provide the clarity of the dayti.

Gu Beicheng suddenly gestured with his hand, and Chi He imdiately fell silent.
Seventh Young Master seed to have discovered sothing but no one dared to ask.

Although Xia Yinian felt she was quite brave, she had been especially afraid of the dark since she was a child.
Being alone in this place was even more dreadful than death!
She sat on the ground, hugging her knees, her body quivering slightly in panic.
Not knowing how long she had been sitting there, what was most despairing was that she had shouted for help so loudly for over an hour, yet there was not even the sound of a bird in the surroundings.
No one would hear her cries for help, no one would co to rescue her.
Would she starve to death here?
With such darkness, could there be poisonous snakes or sothing similar?
As this thought rely surfaced in her mind, suddenly, there really ca a rustling noise from outside.
Xia Yinian’s face paled, as she quickly stood up and retreated to the corner.
Rustling, rustling... The movents grew louder on the rocks outside; this snake... must be enormous!
God, at the end of her road, she now faced such a horrifying creature!
What should she do?
What could she do?
Not knowing where she found a rock, Xia Yinian held it tightly in her hand, shivering in extre nervousness.
If a snake really entered, she would hurl the rock at it with all her might!
If she could knock it off the cliff, maybe she could be saved.
But what if she missed? If the giant snake got angry, would it swallow her whole?
The rustling noise drew closer, and Xia Yinian’s forehead and face were covered in cold sweat.
She gripped the rock very tightly. When the rustling reached the mouth of the cave, Xia Yinian, without hesitation, bit her lip and forcefully threw the rock.
Then she turned and ran into the cave, panic-stricken to the point of tears.
Don’t eat her, please don’t eat her; she didn’t want to die, she was still young!
The children of the orphanage, her missing mom, the adorable Taotao... and that jerk Gu Beicheng...
She still wanted to see him again, to see all of them...
