An hour later, Xia Yinian stumbled out of Gu Beicheng’s yard.
She didn’t dare to pause and ran out rapidly.

Gu Lingqian’s eyes fell on her flushed face, a hint of confusion in his tone: "Nian Nian, where did you go this late?"
"I, I went out... just took a walk," Xia Yinian nervously replied: "I... am tired, I need to sleep, goodnight, Young Master Ling."
After saying that, she opened the door, and just as she was about to close it,
a large hand extended and stopped her from closing the door.
"Won’t you let co in and sit?" Gu Lingqian leaned on the door fra, observing the panic in her eyes.

"Really? But I am your boyfriend, it’s more romantic to sit together at night." Gu Lingqian showed no sign of leaving.
Xia Yinian subconsciously looked around the corridor, not noticing anyone else.
With no one around, why is he still putting on an act?
Could it be because soone is monitoring them?

Gu Lingqian didn’t respond, instead, he walked over to the coffee table and sat down: "Make a cup of tea."
