Tian Xing and the doctor had left, leaving only Xia Yinian in the room.

Suddenly, he set down the remote control, stood up, and turned toward the kitchen.
Xia Yinian instinctively followed.
To her surprise, the young master took sothing out of the fridge and... started cooking for her!
"I can do it myself, you don’t need to..." Xia Yinian said nervously.
This young master looked truly aristocratic, definitely not an ordinary household’s young master.
This villa set, she could surmise, was certainly not his permanent residence, just a temporary haven.
Such a distinguished and wealthy man cooking for her? It felt unsettling. Would he ask for money, and an astronomical sum at that?
The young master remained silent from start to finish, not inquiring what she wanted to eat. In no ti, a steaming bowl of noodles was placed on the small kitchen table.
Xia Yinian imdiately found so chopsticks and took a seat at the table, ready to begin.
But the young master said indifferently, "Heat will cause your wounds to bleed, wait for it to cool down before eating."
"But I’m..." starving to death! Her stomach had been clamoring for a long while now.
"You can’t eat it while it’s hot," the young master insisted, his face and words both unyieldingly cold.
Xia Yinian pouted, her gaze pitifully fixed on him: "I’m so hungry..."
He originally didn’t want to pay her any mind, but those pitiful puppy-dog eyes... they were simply irresistible.
He found himself unable to refuse.
