These past few days, Xia Yinian spent every free mont reading, finding life quite fulfilling.

After all, she was still the girlfriend of Gu Lingqian.

Suddenly, a warm palm enveloped her small hand, the warmth from his palm quickly transferring to hers.
"Don’t be afraid, I’m right here with you," Gu Lingqian squeezed her hand, feeling its chill and his heart ached montarily.
Yet, from his perspective regarding this matter, aside from comforting her and being by her side, he didn’t know what else he could do.
As for Nian Nian and Uncle, no matter what decision she makes in the future, even if she decides to be with Uncle again, he would not object.
Everything would be alright as long as she’s happy.
Xia Yinian finally regained her composure, reciprocating his grip, their fingers entwined, she let out a shallow breath, "I’m fine."
