Today’s banquet is definitely not just a Gu Family family gathering because tonight’s guests are far more nurous than one could imagine.
Xia Yinian and Gu Lingqian had just co downstairs, only to unexpectedly encounter many rarely seen individuals.

"Yanran, when did you get back?" Sitting nearby was a girl whom Xia Yinian was not very familiar with.

Then Gu Yanran said to Gu Lingqian: "I received the notice yesterday that I had to hurry back tonight for the banquet, so..."
She spread her hands and shrugged: "Brother, you know, I can disobey Grandpa’s orders, but I absolutely must obey Grandma’s, or I’ll be kicked out of the family."
"Grandma isn’t so cruel; you’re making things up," Gu Lingqian glanced at her.
But Gu Yanran laughed: "Of course, Grandma wouldn’t, but Grandpa would!"
"Whoever makes Grandma unhappy, Grandpa would chop with a knife. Who dares not to listen to Grandma?"
Gu Lingqian rely smiled, and Xia Yinian also smiled faintly.
The relationship between these siblings seed really good; even though they were not born from the sa mother, they got along very harmoniously.
Compared to Gu Ziqi and the others, the harmony was indeed much greater.
"By the way, Brother, what’s the significance of tonight’s banquet? Why are there so many people? The whole Gu Family is here."
Gu Yanran had just co back and had just changed her clothes, unable to catch up on any news.
