Although he seed to have forgotten about her a long ti ago, seeing him made Ye Shushu happy.
At least she could go back to school and have a good night’s sleep.

Reassured by his affirmation, Ye Shushu exhaled in relief.
When the two left the porridge shop, they didn’t take a car but walked towards the school instead.

Taking the main road was a bit longer, but if they took the shortcut, they’d quickly reach the back gate of the school.
That shortcut was a bit eerie, sothing Ye Shushu definitely wouldn’t choose if she were alone at this hour.
