"Knock knock," the sound of knocking at the door was followed almost imdiately by Gu Lingqian pushing the door open.
Seeing the girl on the bed, his heart tightened a little.
"Nian Nian, how are you feeling?"
His assistant had just told him that Uncle had co and left quickly, and after that, Yu Wanqing left slamming the door.
Worried that Nian Nian had been bullied, Gu Lingqian rushed over as soon as he got the news.
Taotao also followed Gu Lingqian’s steps quickly and entered the room.
Both of them looked a bit flustered.
Xia Yinian quickly suppressed her pain and looked up at the two people who had co in.
"What’s wrong with you guys? I’m okay, aren’t I? What could possibly be wrong?"
"I didn’t know, seeing Young Master Ling running so fast, I thought... that’s why I hurried over."
Taotao moved past Gu Lingqian and sat down beside Xia Yinian.
Xia Yinian glanced at Gu Lingqian, her eyebrows lifted, as if asking, you ran here very fast?
Gu Lingqian looked at her, his lips curving into a slight smile.
As if to say, a fiancé should care for his fiancée, how else would people believe it?
Xia Yinian pursed her lips and gestured dismissively with her hand.
"I’m fine. You go back to work, Taotao and I have sothing to discuss."
"Okay, don’t talk too long. Have your dicine later and get so rest," Gu Lingqian reminded her before leaving.
"Got it," Xia Yinian nodded.
Gu Lingqian turned and gently closed the door.
"Nian Nian, are you really okay? You lost a lot of blood yesterday, you scared and Shushu to death," Taotao said anxiously.
"Look at , I can eat and sleep, what could possibly be wrong?" Xia Yinian gave her a glance, "By the way, how is Shushu?"
"She’s fine, just hurt her left shoulder. The doctor said it’s not a big problem, she just needs to change her dressings on ti and it should heal in a week," responded Taotao.
"Last night, Senior Mo took her ho. I texted her just now, and she hasn’t replied yet, she’s probably still asleep."
Although she had learned about Shushu’s condition from Brother Ling yesterday, Xia Yinian was still quite worried.
Now, hearing it again from Taotao, she finally let out a sigh of relief.
Shushu is a good girl, and heaven surely won’t mistreat her, she will recover soon.

"You said... Senior Mo took Shushu ho?"

That’s how Taotao is, once she starts talking, she can go on without stopping.
With her around, Xia Yinian’s mood improved slightly.

Her eyes darted around a bit before she recognized this unfamiliar place, and she imdiately sat up.
The movent was too sudden, causing stabbing pain in her left shoulder, and she nearly fell back onto the bed.
Biting her lip, she struggled to adapt for a while, and the pain slowly subsided.
Looking down at the oversized shirt she was wearing, Ye Shushu almost scread.
Thankfully, she quickly rembered that last night she went back with Senior Mo to his apartnt.
But wasn’t she supposed to be sleeping on the sofa? How did she end up in bed?
