Xia Yinian was hospitalized for three days, and worried if she stayed any longer, even walking might beco difficult.
Finally, the day of discharge arrived, and her energy instantly returned.
Just coming out of the restroom, the door to the ward swung open from outside.
"Yayin." Yuan Yaying walked in holding a lunchbox.
"Up so early today? Nothing to do?" Xia Yinian looked at her then sat down on the hospital bed.
"We’re gathering at ten o’clock, so I ca earlier to see you." Yuan Yaying opened the table over the bed and placed the lunchbox on it.
"Guess what I’ve brought for you? No matter how expensive hospital food is, it can’t match this taste."
"Wontons?" Xia Yinian frowned slightly, eager to open the lunchbox.
"Mm, I didn’t know what you’d like, so I just brought sothing I enjoy," Yuan Yaying admitted without hiding.
Fortunately, it seed this girl liked it too.
"It slls good." As soon as she finished speaking, Xia Yinian picked up the chopsticks.
"It tastes even better," Yuan Yaying responded softly.
Xia Yinian grabbed one, put it in her mouth.
"Shrimp and mushrooms, my favorite flavor," she nodded with a smile.
"Glad you like it, eat slowly," Yuan Yaying casually picked up a dical book from the bedside table.
Xia Yinian didn’t pay her much attention; if it weren’t for this person visiting from ti to ti, her days would have definitely been duller.
After devouring five or six wontons, Xia Yinian finally felt full.
Feng Rui had also brought breakfast earlier, but she had no appetite.
It was all nutritional supplents; she had eaten too many in the past few days and really couldn’t stomach any more.
"By the way, today is the last day of the promotional event, what ti is the flight tomorrow?" Xia Yinian asked softly.
"We’re not leaving tomorrow, we’ve arranged a ribbon-cutting event the day after tomorrow, extending the seven-day campaign to ten days."
"I just received the notice last night, I specifically ca early to tell you today, just forgot earlier," Yuan Yaying scratched her head, closing the dical book.
"What ribbon-cutting event? Is the group from Ye City also participating for promotion?" Xia Yinian turned and eyed her.
"You really didn’t know?" Yuan Yaying frowned slightly.
"Why would I know?" Xia Yinian glanced at her, lowered her head and scooped another wonton into her mouth.
"That’s a costic group jointly opened by Seventh Young Master and Third Young Master of Feng Family," Yuan Yaying continued.
Xia Yinian, with a wonton in her mouth, looked up at Yuan Yaying.
To avoid choking, she swallowed what was in her mouth before exclaiming in surprise, "Uncle and the Third Young Master are opening a company together?"
"I really didn’t know about this."
"You can’t be serious? I thought you knew already," Yuan Yaying frowned slightly.
"I only knew after you told ," Xia Yinian responded casually, appearing not too surprised.
She had heard Uncle ntion a project in Yaoshan, but she didn’t expect it to be in collaboration with Third Young Master.
Given her lukewarm recent relationship with Uncle, many things concerning him had not been her concern.
Yuan Yaying glanced at her but didn’t continue the topic.
It was none of her business to ask more; these few days, she had been responsible for bringing food and chatting about recent events.
As for when they are going back, since Yinian is part of the Gu Family, the Gu Family will naturally inform her; it’s not her place to say.
Besides, with so many people around Yinian from both Gu Family and Feng Family, she still had to avoid them when coming!
