Xia Yinian was still enamored with her own face and didn’t notice the commotion behind her.
Otherwise, she should have sensed sothing was amiss with the makeup artist.
"The latest research?" Xia Yinian questioned without doubt, seemingly just repeating the man’s words.
A makeup trial, of course, is needed only for new products; there was no question about it.
Such an impressive ointnt must sell for a high price, right?
It seed like it wasn’t sothing she needed to worry about, so Xia Yinian didn’t think too much of it.
However, having the chance to participate in the making of such a miraculous ointnt made her quite proud.
After admiring herself for a while, she turned and looked at the man behind her.
"Next, am I supposed to go out and show it to the company executives?"
Xia Yinian’s turning made Gu Beicheng feel even more uncomfortable.
He coughed lightly, raised an eyebrow, and went to tidy up the things on the table.
"There’s a set of clothes prepared for you by the company in the changing room over there; go and change into it first," the man’s voice regained its bright tone.
Xia Yinian furrowed her brows lightly, puzzled as to why she needed to change clothes.
But it seed like he was just passing along a ssage, so even if she asked, he might not be able to provide an answer.
"Mhm." The girl contemplated for a few seconds and then turned towards the changing room.
About three minutes later, Xia Yinian, now changed, returned to the mirror.
Looking at the two people in the mirror, Xia Yinian had an illusion; why did she feel that her clothes and the makeup artist’s clothes looked so similar?
They were clearly... a couple’s outfit.
"Is this the outfit you prepared for ?" Xia Yinian looked at the makeup artist, her brows furrowed.
"The company asked to prepare it. I didn’t know what style you liked, so..." The makeup artist picked up his makeup case and gestured with his hand.
"Let’s go." After another glance at Xia Yinian, he turned and walked out.
The words "Where are we going" hadn’t left her mouth before the man was already far away, and Xia Yinian could only pick up her bag and follow him out.
The two left the makeup room together, entered the elevator, and went directly to the minus second floor of the building.
"May I ask, where are we going?" As they stepped out of the elevator, Xia Yinian still raised the question.
Was it the underground parking lot below? Were they leaving?
Xia Yinian had always thought that today’s events would take place within the company, not expecting to go out.
"We’re going out." The makeup artist dropped the words and walked towards the elevators.
"Going out?" Xia Yinian followed closely behind him.
"Yes, how can you know how long your makeup will last if you don’t go out for a walk and just stay in the company all the ti?"
"Generally, people who wear this kind of makeup do so for the sake of carrying out a task, so you must leave the company and walk around."
As soon as he finished speaking, the man stopped in his tracks and turned to look at the person following him.
Xia Yinian didn’t expect him to stop suddenly and almost bumped into him.
When she steadied herself, they were already very close.

The man furrowed his brows and looked down at the girl in front of him.
"If you don’t like going out with , you can ask the company to make other arrangents."
"I heard you’re quite familiar with both bosses of Hengshi. Perhaps you could call them to accompany you personally, yes?"
Xia Yinian blinked and shook her head.
"I’ll just follow the company’s arrangents."
She couldn’t afford to ask Seventh Young Master to accompany her—she did not want to trouble Third Young Master over such a trivial matter.
Actually, this big boy wasn’t bad at all; going out with him should be quite suitable.
