Fang Zhou had ntally rehearsed his next move many tis.

The mont the eager Kobold Stone Throwers could no longer resist and began hurling stones at him, a sharp glint flashed in Fang Zhou’s eyes. He decisively activated the [Bone Wings] skill.

A surge of imnse energy erupted from within him, launching him skyward like a soaring raptor. He deftly dodged the incoming barrage of stones.

While in mid-air, Fang Zhou decisively threw the two remaining Kobold corpses toward the onrushing tide of Fierce Ants.

Taking advantage of the confusion as the Fierce Ants fought over the food, he maneuvered the enormous wings ford from bone, tracing an elegant arc through the air and expertly bypassing the edge of the Kobold camp.

AWOO WOOF!

At the center of the Kobold camp, the Kobold Warlock Leader, surrounded by a group of elites, angrily raised its Magic Staff and let out an enraged roar.

A powerful surge of magic power gathered, and a series of fireballs gushed out from the tip of the staff. The scorching Continuous Fireballs rushed straight toward Fang Zhou, trailing a searing heat wave.

Facing an attack from an Apprentice Upper-Rank demon leader, Fang Zhou dared not be careless.

While flapping his wings to agilely maneuver to the side, he waved his Magic Staff to cast [Skeleton Shield]. A solid bone shield instantly appeared before him.

The fireballs rained down. Most were successfully evaded by Fang Zhou’s graceful movents, with only two striking the Skeleton Shield. The shield shuddered violently and was left with blackened scorch marks, but it was not destroyed and still maintained high Defense Power.

Seeing this, Fang Zhou’s confidence surged. His Spirit Attribute had already exceeded 7 points, putting him just a step away from the Apprentice Upper Rank. Combined with the array of luxurious equipnt he wore, his fully enhanced Skeleton Shield was more than enough to withstand the spells of the Kobold Warlock Leader.

Fang Zhou now had a better sense of the situation, but he couldn’t afford to waste ti. He glided swiftly along the edge of the Kobold camp while forming a Skeleton Flying Spear, securely attaching a prepared package to it.

Looking down at the dazed Kobolds in the camp who were still unaware of his intentions, Fang Zhou’s lips curled into a aningful smile.

How the tables have turned. This spear is for delivering justice on behalf of the Fierce Ants!

Propelled by his Spiritual Power, the Skeleton Flying Spear hovering beside him whistled toward the Kobold camp with the force of thunder. Because it was carrying a heavy package, the spear’s flight speed was slightly reduced, giving the Kobolds ti to react.

WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!

A group of Kobold Stone Throwers brandished their slings, launching a dense barrage of stone projectiles at the spear heading for their camp.

BOOM!

Just as the Skeleton Flying Spear reached the airspace above the Kobold camp’s wooden wall, it was intercepted by the incoming projectiles and exploded.

Seeing this, the Kobolds in the camp began to cheer and dance, thinking they had successfully thwarted Fang Zhou’s attack. However, the smile on Fang Zhou’s face only grew wider.

As the Skeleton Flying Spear exploded, the package he had tied to it also shattered into pieces. A large quantity of materials highly attractive to Fierce Ants, such as Fierce Ant Queen glands and Sli Sweet Juice Pouches, was blasted into the Kobold camp by the force of the explosion. So of the glands and pouches burst, splattering their contents everywhere and dousing many of the Kobolds below.

The Kobold Warlock Leader, being the most intelligent of its kind, slled the strange odor perating the camp and imdiately realized sothing was wrong. With its limited knowledge, it had no idea what the sll was or what it did. But it would bet its own head that the human who had lured the Fierce Ant swarm here was up to no good.

Unfortunately, it reacted too late.

Outside the camp, the Fierce Ants that had just finished devouring the Kobold corpses suddenly twitched their antennae, sensing an overwhelming temptation ahead. Their eyes blazed with a savage hunger. The previously stalled ant tide surged forward once more, charging straight for the Kobold camp.

The Kobolds drenched in the glandular secretions and sweet juices suddenly felt an unprecedented sense of crisis. It seed these ants were coming for them!

Though the Kobold Warlock Leader did not know the human adage about eting soldiers with generals and floods with dams, at this mont it could only brace itself and command its kin to take up their weapons and defend the camp.

AWOO WOOF!

It let out an angry, determined howl. Responding to their leader’s command, the Kobold Stone Throwers on the arrow towers once again began to swing their slings. A rain of sharp stone projectiles poured down on the surging ant tide.

Although the projectiles weren’t very effective against the Fierce Ants’ thick carapaces, the concentrated attack still battered and bruised many of them. So of the ants at the very front were even critically wounded or killed outright.

However, the scent of their companions’ blood only served to further incite the swarm’s ferocity. After devouring their fallen comrades, their advance toward the Kobold camp actually quickened.

Far in the distance, having retreated beyond the Kobolds’ attack range, Fang Zhou watched the Fierce Ants finally clash head-on with the Kobolds and nodded in satisfaction.

His third step—the plan to make the tiger devour the wolf—was now a complete success. Next, all he needed to do was watch the conflict from the sidelines and reap the rewards.

「...」

At Sea City Military Academy, all the students watching the broadcast were stunned by Fang Zhou’s divine-level tactics.

"Luring the snake from its hole, diverting the disaster, watching the fire from across the river, and then pulling the ’mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind’ finisher. I’m numb; Lord Fang actually used *The Art of War by Sun Tzu* on Cave Demons?!"

"Did you see the dazed look on that Kobold leader’s face? I want to laugh, but I also feel sorry for it. What do I do?"

"Guys, who can relate? Just enjoying so hot pot and singing, and the next thing you know, soone has led hundreds of Fierce Ants right to your doorstep!"

"I gotta say, from the Kobolds’ perspective, what Lord Fang did was pretty ruthless. But man, was it satisfying to watch!"

"Tsk, tsk. No matter who wins this fight, Fang Zhou is the one who will be laughing in the end. Over a hundred Kobolds, hundreds of Fierce Ants, plus an entire open-pit iron ore vein. Whether it’s Hunting Points or contribution points, he has won big this ti!"

"Sigh, it’s true that the strong take all. Once you’re one step ahead, you stay ahead! Fang Zhou’s combat power far surpasses ours, which is why he could gather so many demon materials in the Caves. And it’s precisely because he had so many materials that he could find a way to successfully lure the Fierce Ants to the Kobold camp. Even if you gave the thod, I wouldn’t have the ability to get my hands on so many Ant Queen glands and Sweet Juice Sacs."
