This formation not only effectively defends against attacks from the ground but also combats threats descending from above. If these two Horned Demons dared to rashly descend, they would be t with countless sharp spear tips, ready to skewer any challenger into a porcupine.

However, the spear phalanx was never their target.

A deafening howl erupted once more. The two Horned Demons kicked off with their hind legs, soaring into the sky again and leaping right over the spear phalanx!

Their target was none other than Fang Zhou, who had just erged from the dense forest!

Fang Zhou’s position was originally thought to be perfectly safe, as he stood at the rear of the spear phalanx, protected by nurous lee Skeletons. But with the surprise attack of these two Jumping Horned Demons, he suddenly found himself in an extrely dangerous situation.

The lee-frail Apprentice Undead Mage was now left unprotected, about to directly face two ferocious demons descending from the sky!

Seeing the Jumping Horned Demons about to pounce on the human magician, the Horned Demon Commander let out an excited roar.

The Fiery Demon leader’s attention was also drawn to the Jumping Horned Demons’ leaping attack. It knew their power well and secretly anticipated the upcoming slaughter.

However, what puzzled the Fiery Demon leader was that the human Undead Mage did not retreat in a panic. Instead, he stood his ground calmly, watching the two Jumping Horned Demons descend.

With a soft cry, Fang Zhou lifted his hand, making a gesture toward the Jumping Horned Demon about to land on him.

As he spoke, five dazzling, pale-white chains erupted from his fingertips. They shot side-by-side through the void, accurately striking the two Jumping Horned Demons in mid-air. Instantly, a deep and continuous rumbling echoed in the air—the resonance produced by the activation of the Skeleton Shackles.

The Jumping Horned Demons’ bodies shook violently from this sudden restraint. They let out painful and terrified howls, their voices now holding no trace of their forr ferocity or arrogance, only deep fear and helplessness.

With a muffled thud, the two Jumping Horned Demons crashed heavily to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

However, their howls soon followed. The two demons hadn’t died from the fall and were already struggling back to their feet. Although the Jumping Horned Demons were slimr than ordinary Horned Demons, they still stood over two ters tall with around 150 pounds of powerful muscle. Even without the ambush advantage their jumping provided, their physique far surpassed that of an ordinary Undead Mage.

The control effect of the Skeleton Shackles had caused them to plumt from a great height. Were they ordinary humans, such a violent impact would likely have rendered them unconscious or even dead. However, it seed the fall only ignited an even greater fighting spirit in the Jumping Horned Demons.

They stood up, bared their sharp-toothed mouths, and let out an earth-shattering roar, and then...

There was no then.

Two pale Skeleton Flying Spears shot from Fang Zhou’s hand, spinning toward the two Jumping Horned Demons. Trailing long tails of energy, they looked incredibly powerful.

The Jumping Horned Demons paid them little mind. The Skeleton Flying Spears approached so rapidly that dodging them, even with their extre leaping ability, was impossible. Thus, the two Jumping Horned Demons rely shielded their faces with their arms, arching their bodies to brace for the damage from the Skeleton Flying Spears.

On the hill, the Fiery Demon leader’s expression changed dramatically. The Horned Demon Commander and its subordinates, with their dull senses and brains of brawn, naturally couldn’t discern the power of the Skeleton Flying Spears Fang Zhou had unleashed. But as a being equally skilled in magic, the Fiery Demon leader could keenly sense the terrifying power of decay hidden in the two spears, even from afar.

It was a power that could erode souls and strip away life, causing any living being to struggle in despair until they faded into nothingness.

Regrettably, it was too late to react.

A thunderous explosion, like a doomsday bell, reverberated above the battlefield. The Skeleton Flying Spears struck their targets with perfect accuracy, and the bodies of the two Jumping Horned Demons were instantly engulfed in a gray-white cloud of death. This death cloud was composed of pure Death Energy, obliterating life and withering everything it touched.

"Hold on! Jumping Horned Demons! Charge through and kill him!"

The Horned Demon Commander’s roar echoed over the battlefield, filled with frustration and madness.

Yet soon, what reached its ears was a wailing, ghastly sound. It was the Jumping Horned Demons! There was no longer any trace of pride in their voices, only frantic screams as their bodies tumbled and rolled violently on the ground, shrouded in Death Energy.

A chilling sensation enveloped the Horned Demon Commander. It looked at Fang Zhou, then at the approaching spear phalanx, and a feeling of being completely outmatched surged through it.

Another Skeleton Arrow Rain descended. Several Little Inferior Demons scread, flipping over and landing motionless on the ground.

On the other side, a silver light flashed and a Horned Demon’s head erupted. Hot brains splattered out, drenching half of the Horned Demon Commander’s body. Fang Zhou had entered his casting range and begun to use his Skeleton Flying Spear skill, picking off the powerful Horned Demons in the Demon Battle Group one by one.

More Skeleton Archers holding longbows appeared on the hill. They gathered in threes and fours, forming terrifying lines. As they moved, longbows were slowly drawn, their bowstrings pulled taut like the scythe of the Death God suspended in the air, ready to reap life at any mont.

To the right of the hill, the once-solid Shelter was now a heap of shattered ruins. This had been the survivors’ last line of defense, and now, it had beco a fierce battleground between the goblins and the Shelter Guards. Although nurous, the goblins’ advantage dwindled in the face of the well-trained and determined Shelter Guards.

When the last goblin was slain, the guards let out a deafening roar. Though battered and bloodied, their wounds still fresh, an intense battle fervor fueled them. These brave warriors roared as they encircled the Demon Battle Group.

"Kill!"

After a mont of hesitation, the Horned Demon Commander let out a strange cry and charged toward Fang Zhou’s Skeleton Army like lightning. With its combat awareness, it naturally recognized that the key issue was not the ragged remnants of the Shelter survivors closing in from the front. The real threat was the relentlessly advancing Skeleton Army at their rear.

The Commander’s move imdiately caused a commotion in the Demon Legion. The Little Inferior Demons flapped their fragile wings in panic, trying to follow the Commander’s charge. The Dog Demons, driven by fear, tucked their tails and fled into the nearby dense forest, leaving chaos in their wake. As for the large, muscular Horned Demons, they finally shook off their brief confusion, roaring loudly as they followed the Commander into the desperate struggle.

In this chaos, the remaining Fiery Demons, under their leader’s command, began amassing the Fla Energy they had long accumulated, preparing to unleash a dense barrage of fireballs.

With his current strength, Fang Zhou naturally wasn’t afraid of a head-on confrontation with the Demon Battle Group. To clear the stage as quickly as possible while minimizing casualties among the Shelter’s guards and refugees, the best strategy was a direct assault. He would use his Skeleton Army as the main force to confront the well-configured Demon Battle Group head-on.

At this mont, watching all this unfold from the rear, Fang Zhou felt a peculiar sensation arise in his heart. It was as if ti had rewound, and he had returned to the familiar virtual battlefield—the War Chess board of "Demon Extermination Total War." The familiar strategic formations, the confidence of a master strategist—it all filled Fang Zhou’s heart with power.

Imdiately, his confidence soared.
