Undead Mage: I Have a Skeleton Clone Chapter 751 - 487: Death Alchemy, Synthesizing Resources, Ex
Fang Zhou prepared for the next step. He decided not only to search the Human Alliance’s Combat Professional Skill Library for skills effective against Undead Creatures like Ghosts for his Corpse Clone to learn, but also to build an Enchantnt Factory in the Corpse Tomb. This would allow him to enchant his Tomb Undead, preventing them from dealing purely physical damage, which was easily countered by Ghosts.
These tasks would require a trendous amount of ti and effort. Thinking of this, Fang Zhou couldn’t help but feel a sense of urgency.
There was still so ti before the Blood Moon Tide. He wondered if he could find the Ghost Lord’s territory before this cycle of the Blood Moon Tide ended.
Turning back to look at the battlefield, which was strewn with corpses and in complete chaos, Fang Zhou waved at Tidamia. He directed him to organize the Tomb Undead to work together and clean up the battlefield.
At Fang Zhou’s current strength of Bronze Upper, Undead Creatures at the Black Iron Upper or even Bronze Lower rank could hardly provide any more support to his growth. Rather than absorbing them himself, it was better to distribute them among his Tomb Undead Army, allowing them to evolve and advance in rank.
For Fang Zhou, if more Tomb Undead could evolve into elite Undead Units like Corpse Knights or Corrupt Hatreds, it would be excellent.

The sun cycled over the far side of the Fierce Beast Mountain Range, rose again from the east, and climbed to its zenith.
「A month passed quickly.」
Under the continuous feedback of Attributes from the Corpse Clone, Fang Zhou’s Spirit Main Attribute naturally reached 500 points, and he advanced to the Bronze Middle rank.
At the sa ti, after several weeks of selection, Fang Zhou hired a small Adventurer Group known as Fla dal to explore the Naraku Wizard Ruins deep within the Fierce Beast Mountain Range.
It was worth ntioning that this Adventurer Group had been recomnded by Lieutenant Colonel Shen Zhongyun. In both reputation and strength, they were quite solid among the adventurer groups in Beast Fighting City and were considered top-notch.
The leader of Fla dal was a Bronze Middle Fla Mage nad Yan Yan. In addition, a Bronze Middle Assassin and a Bronze Middle Shield Dancer served as vice leaders. The other dozen mbers were Combat Professionals whose strengths ranged from Black Iron Upper to Bronze Lower.
The strength and scale of the Fla dal Adventurer Group perfectly matched Fang Zhou’s needs for this adventure. After all, according to the intelligence Fang Zhou had gathered, the Naraku Wizard Ruins he was going to explore were an underground complex. Unlike the open wilderness, there wouldn’t be enough space for too many people.

「Beast Fighting City, Adventurer Association.」
Yan Yan and the others had been waiting for a long ti, fully prepared with all the necessities for the adventure.
"Let’s go, we’re setting out!"
After greeting each mber of Fla dal, Fang Zhou summoned a large Undead Army and marched majestically toward the Fierce Beast Mountain Range.
The next few days of travel served as an opportunity for Fang Zhou and Fla dal to build rapport, and their understanding of each other’s strength naturally deepened. The mbers of Fla dal were already filled with boundless awe for Fang Zhou, the young Bronze Middle Undead Mage.
As expected of a graduate of Sea City Military Academy; his strength and foundation are truly profound. If he didn’t need our adventuring group’s rich experience, he could probably explore the entire Naraku Ruins by himself.

Deep in the Fierce Beast Mountain Range, Fang Zhou led the team along the detailed coordinates he had obtained from Yue Pengfei and successfully arrived outside a cave.
This ti, a few well-equipped Bronze Middle Corpse Warriors took the lead. Fla dal’s Shield Dancer vice leader, Lin Qingshan, perceptively walked behind these Undead Creatures. He was fully ard, tough, and had strong defensive capabilities, allowing him to respond to many unexpected situations.
They descended along the corridor into the lowest chamber, which was just as cold and eerie as Fang Zhou had expected. The Assassin vice leader, Jing Fei, threw a light canister, imdiately illuminating the entire room.
Before them was a long corridor with six doors arranged in a staggered pattern on either side. No one knew what lay behind them. At the end of the corridor stood a larger Magic Gate, guarded by two giant, ancient Carved Golems. What was inside the Magic Gate was also a mystery.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
PSST! PSST! PSST!
Fang Zhou casually summoned a few Zombies to scout ahead, triggering an Arrow Trap and a Poison Acid Trap. The Zombies quickly dissolved into a pile of rotten flesh.
Only these two traps? Clearly, that was unlikely.
In the Era of Myth, Magic Professionals from any civilization were synonymous with wisdom, wealth, and power. Mages often turned their residences into veritable fortresses. A Mage with a Mage Tower could often challenge opponents beyond their level. This Naraku Wizard Ruins was akin to a unique Mage Tower, so it certainly wouldn’t be that simple.
"Captain Yan Yan, you’re familiar with this kind of ancient ruin, right? I’ll leave these chanisms and traps to you!" Fang Zhou said, looking at Yan Yan and making a "please" gesture.
Although Fang Zhou’s combat strength was formidable, he was ultimately just an Undead Mage. If he were to deal with these traps himself, his only option would be to send his Undead Creatures to charge through recklessly. The success rate would be high, but it would require sacrificing many of his Undead Summoned Creatures, sothing Fang Zhou, who cherished his soldiers like his own sons, was unwilling to do. Besides, he had spent tens of thousands of Magic Stones to hire the Fla dal Adventurer Group. Weren’t rcenaries ant to solve these kinds of problems?
"Understood, Lieutenant Fang Zhou," Yan Yan said, nodding professionally as he saw the smile on Fang Zhou’s face. "Leave it to Fla dal!"
He then cast Fla Body Protection and Mage Armor on Jing Fei.
Jing Fei stepped cautiously into the corridor, glancing from side to side. Hunter Series Professionals were often sensitive to hunting traps in the wild. Assassin Series Professionals, on the other hand, were well-acquainted with various types of traps and chanisms. Of course, a Mage’s residence was filled with mysteries and dangers that many hunters and assassins couldn’t handle, so Yan Yan also readied his defenses and followed behind Jing Fei.
After just a few steps, Yan Yan’s eyes lit up, his interest piqued by the Magic Runes on the walls, floor, and ceiling.
"Let see... These runes form a Burning Trap.
"However, it seems the Magic Circuit is damaged... no, it’s a delay setting!
"Hmm, step back a bit! Farther back! I know how to disarm it. I have to activate it!"
Yan Yan raised his Magic Staff, and orange-yellow flas converged at its tip. Everyone else retreated to a safe distance, watching his performance.
The fla at the tip of the Magic Staff transford into a scorching beam, accurately striking a node on one of the trap runes. In an instant, all the trap runes beca as dazzling as the sun. Imdiately after, clusters of Energy Flas appeared out of thin air within the corridor and suddenly exploded!
Within seconds, the entire corridor of the ruins turned into a sea of fire. Raging flas, carrying waves of imnse heat, surged outward.
Seeing the flas rushing toward them, Yan Yan raised his Magic Staff. An invisible force field wall rose before him, blocking all the flas.
As the fire slowly died down, Yan Yan’s expression relaxed. He pointed into the depths of the corridor and explained to Fang Zhou, "Lieutenant Fang Zhou, look!
"I used a Mana Barrier to block the sea of fire. Since the flas couldn’t vent, the extre heat destroyed many of the chanisms and traps!
"There were at least ten more traps here, and now they’ve all been dealt with!"
Fang Zhou looked down the corridor. The torrent of fire had indeed generated extre heat in an instant. On the corridor walls, so hidden chanisms and traps had been destroyed.
Moreover, there was an unintended benefit: it had successfully flushed out the hidden dangers.
CLICK! CLICK! CLICK!
From the deepest part of the corridor, the two ancient Carved Golems that had been guarding the gate suddenly revived and charged toward them!
Not only that, but on the Magic Gate closest to the corridor entrance, the previously dim and worn Magic Runes had now absorbed the energy from the flas, turning bright red.
It had been activated!
And then what?
Fang Zhou stared intently at the door, watching as the old stone door creaked and slowly swung open.
