Just as Gu Xi had anticipated, the new Yaliduvi Tower vanished the mont it landed, while right before them a new batch of troops appeared.

Upon spotting the enemies, thirty Red Dragons leapt forward without waiting for Gu Xi’s command. They ford a line, opened their mouths, and unleashed a barrage upon the newly-erged foes.

The Dragon Breath flas quickly ignited the enemy on the first pass.
The eerie Lancers wanted to fight back, but they needed to reach their target first.
To maximize the Dragon Breath’s effectiveness, the Red Dragons flew thirty ters above ground; no matter how long the Lancers’ Long Spears were, they couldn’t reach the Red Dragons in the sky.
Under the assault from the Red Dragons, the enemy had no chance to counterattack and was incinerated on the spot.
At that mont, Gu Xi also unleashed his strongest move in tandem with the Red Dragons’ strike.
Death Incarnation.
However, Gu Xi released Death Incarnation not because of a perfect opportunity, but because he only had 1 point of Mana left.
If he didn’t release Death Incarnation, he couldn’t drink a Magic Potion with peace of mind.
After deploying Death Incarnation, Gu Xi finally downed the Magic Potion he had been holding for so long.
Upon swallowing the Magic Potion, Gu Xi’s eyes widened.
He noticed sothing seed off about those eerie Lancers.
During the first assault, those Black Robe Cultists burned to a crisp, quite the typical reaction of flesh and blood.
Yet, the present scene was unusual; those eerie Lancers all lted away.
At their scorched spots, only the burning Long Spears and the still-cooling molten tal remained.
This situation was evidently abnormal.
Coincidentally, the Death Incarnation flew right over these eerie Lancers at that mont.
Unlike the Red Dragons, who can fight at thirty ters high altitude, the Death Incarnation hovered around five ters from the ground.
At this point, Gu Xi discovered that the Death Incarnation had not equipped the Crystal Storm black mist suite, but instead donned a newly acquired black mist suite.
Starfire Nightmare Shadow!
This new black mist suite, ford by Death Incarnation under imnse power after consuming a large amount of black ash, can fuse with the black mist but not with Crystal Storm simultaneously.
With Starfire Nightmare Shadow deployed, the black mist transforms into a cloud occasionally extending a face or two, with sparks flashing within the cloud.
The chief feature of Starfire Nightmare Shadow is igniting everything it touches. If the target is already ablaze, the effect becos even more potent.
Once ignited, the passing Death Incarnation can absorb the fire’s power through Starfire Nightmare Shadow, boosting its power.
Ultimately, Starfire Nightmare Shadow can even form a Firestorm.
Gu Xi advised the Death Incarnation to switch to Starfire Nightmare Shadow before deploying it, given the presence of thirty Red Dragons and the use of flas.
However, he never anticipated the eerie Lancers to be in such a state, leaving him unsure for a mont if utilizing this move was beneficial or detrintal.
