"Strongman, huh?"
Glancing at the description on the Strongman’s ID Card, Gu Xi couldn’t help but smile. He didn’t expect to obtain such a thing just after arriving in this world.
However, Gu Xi’s attention didn’t stay on this as he quickly began to study the leaderboard.
Gu Xi discovered that over forty people had already made the list, each with only one point. It seed that most players were on the board because they acquired a powerful tool for various reasons.
What shocked Gu Xi was that the leaderboard plainly displayed people’s nas and city nas.
Especially the top three players, whose nas were highlighted and emboldened in red, indicating their approximate current whereabouts, as if soone feared they might survive a day.
Gu Xi shook his head and was about to put away the Strongman’s ID Card in his briefcase when he suddenly heard a voice in the crowd in the train compartnt.
"Hey, over there, give your bag."
Gu Xi looked up towards the direction from where the voice ca.
He saw a man over 1.9 ters tall wearing a torn denim outfit, with three rows of studs on his nose, glaring at him.
This man exposed strong arms, with a face seemingly painted with smoky makeup, dazed eyes, and thick dark circles, giving the impression of having panda eyes when he widened them.
On his uncovered arms were also painted around seventeen or eighteen seductive demons in various poses.
Gu Xi could tell that the enticing demons drawn on this man’s body were all ones he had played with.
Before Gu Xi could say anything, the man said again, "Hey, over there, give your bag."
At this, Gu Xi stood up, locked eyes with the man, and said.
"Sir, it seems like you’re trying to extort ."
As soon as Gu Xi spoke, everyone in the compartnt who had their heads down looked at the man, their faces blurred and indistinct, never mind their eyes.
Being stared at like this made the man feel an unsettling chill all over.
"Who, who said I was extorting you? I just want you to hand over the bag."
"But we don’t even know each other. Why should I give you my bag? Don’t tell it’s yours—what exactly do you have in it?"
The man’s face turned rather unsightly. The reason he demanded Gu Xi’s bag was simply that he saw Gu Xi put the ID Card into his briefcase earlier.
Checking IDs in a train compartnt was quite unreasonable.
The man believed that with his strength and stature, he could frighten Gu Xi.
He would first snatch Gu Xi’s bag.
But he never expected that not only was Gu Xi not scared, but he even drew the attention of everyone in the compartnt to himself.
Watching their faces start to clear up from being blurred, the man realized he was under so eerie scrutiny. If he didn’t solve this problem, he wouldn’t survive the first day.
His mind whirled as he quickly said, "Who’s extorting you? I just wanted to see what brand your bag is. I want to buy one myself."
Even though this explanation made no sense.
But an explanation is an explanation. As the man clarified, the people staring at him lowered their heads again, and their faces beca indistinct once more.
Seeing this, Gu Xi smirked at the man dismissively and mouthed at him.
"Stupid dog from Cold Leaf City."
Watching Gu Xi’s lips move, the man felt provoked, squeezing through the crowd to stand in front of Gu Xi, grabbing the handle above and bending down to stare at Gu Xi’s face.
Because his actions weren’t too outrageous, people on the train didn’t pay attention.
Seeing this, he felt even more emboldened, occasionally making faces at Gu Xi or quickly moving his face close and then away.
A normal person would feel an urge to punch him.
Confronted with such provocation, Gu Xi showed no intention of throwing a punch but rather spoke in a slow tone, "Since when did the bikers start taking trains? Don’t you have your own motorcycles?"
As Gu Xi spoke, everyone on site raised their heads to look at the man.
Leaving the man speechless, he wasn’t a biker, alright? It was just that the gear he had automatically transford into this appearance.
Previously, no one brought it up, so naturally, no one noticed. Still, the mont Gu Xi ntioned it, there were issues all over him.
The man was angered, "What’s it got to do with you? Look at yourself, an office worker with sothing hanging on your collar."
His words finished, people on the train turned to look at Gu Xi, their faces also becoming more distinct.
Seeing this, the man realized he found the key to solving the problem. He just needed to find more flaws in Gu Xi to shift the eerie gaze to him.
"Don’t say you’re not an office worker. You’re holding a briefcase, after all."
"I am an office worker, though. But as a manager of public relations at a big company, having collar clips is quite logical.
But it’s you, as a biker, your shoes are clearly incorrect. Those clearly aren’t biker boots.
And your hair has never been styled, right? Do you call this being a biker?"
In fact, when Gu Xi spoke about sothing being logical, those staring at him already moved their gaze away and transferred it onto the man.
As Gu Xi brought up question after question, the man noticed the people’s expressions beca clear.
The man hurriedly prepared to explain.
But Gu Xi acted even faster than him.
"See, your disguise has been discovered—now you’re panicking, wanting to attack others. You’re not a biker; you’re an impostor. What exactly do you intend to do with this pretense?"
At those words, the man could no longer bear it; he just wanted Gu Xi to shut up.
So he swung a punch at Gu Xi’s face.
But this precisely fulfilled Gu Xi’s words; he panicked.
In Gu Xi’s eyes, everyone in the compartnt surged toward the man.
The man couldn’t care less about it being daylight; with a flick of his hand, nurous red-skinned enchanting demons wielding long whips appeared by his side.
As soon as these demons erged, they swung their long whips at the nearby human figures.
anwhile, the man’s skin turned crimson, sprouting a pair of curved horns atop his head, pulling a pair of curved sabers off his nose as he charged toward Gu Xi.
Watching the man charge at him, Gu Xi raised his left hand, pointing a finger at the man’s eyes.
"Enchanting!"
