The other by using makeup, making themselves appear like living dead zombies.
Their levels range from 6 to 8.
This ti, for the battle, Gu Xi directly mobilized all units above level 7, adding over fifteen thousand new troops to his side.
If these troops were all cramd into Yalidovitar, it might not be able to hold them all.
In the end, it was Eldest Princess Anna who ca up with an idea to station them outside New Yalidu City.
Only three thousand were selected to fill Yalidovitar and act as the basic defense force.
When manpower is needed, a spatial shift in Yalidovitar can replenish these troops.
This ensures not only adequate defense for Yalidovitar but also prevents internal chaos while guaranteeing troop reinforcent and resource logistics.
As Gu Xi mobilized everything in the city to prepare for the imminent battle, Shaya also rushed back three hours before it started.
Originally, Gu Xi thought Shaya wouldn’t be able to gather any information.
But unexpectedly, Shaya managed to find out so news in such a short ti.

Hearing this, Gu Xi found the information Shaya gathered aligned closely with his own predictions.
However, what Shaya eventually discovered caused Gu Xi so concern.

"I believe the Yaksha King hiding beneath the Earth Demon Cave could be for one of three reasons.
Firstly, he was cornered by soone, leaving him no choice but to temporarily hide here.
This seems least likely since, as you’ve seen, the Earth Demon Cave has existed for quite a long ti. Not to ntion the bones in the lake and those Yaksha eggs in the underground caverns, which weren’t ford overnight.
So, it’s unlikely he was forced to reincarnate and flee, as the cave has been around for decades, if not hundreds of years.
Second, he has backing; at least so higher-ups on Yellow Springs Road are aware of the Yaksha King’s actions.
So the Ghost Kings haven’t moved against the Earth Demon Cave.
Yet there’s so inconsistency since the Earth Demon Cave is listed in the task list.
Otherwise, we wouldn’t have ventured here.
The other possibility is that the Yaksha King is a decoy or trap set by soone else to lure major figures into action.
It’s just our bad luck that we got inadvertently involved."
Listening to Shaya’s analysis, Gu Xi nodded; he had reached almost the sa conclusions himself.
But despite it all, he had already taken on this matter and didn’t plan to back down easily.
He wasn’t doing this for the Orange Armor, but to prove he could engage anyone in battle.
"I understand, but regardless of the Yaksha King’s circumstances, we’ve taken on this matter, and he is our enemy.
During your trip, did you learn anything else about the Yaksha King? Like his personality?
Or his combat habits, for instance?
Surely he has so enemies."
"I genuinely didn’t manage to find out, as if everyone who knew of the Yaksha King has been silenced, and so don’t even know of his existence.
I suspect the Yaksha King’s main domain isn’t on Yellow Springs Road.
If we had more ti, we might gather more information from other places.
But we really don’t have much ti now."
"Indeed, ti is tight."
Gu Xi sighed a little, "But it doesn’t matter much to us. I’ve decided to fight this battle, and I won’t let other matters sway my decision.

After Shaya was dismissed, Gu Xi attended to so other matters.

Gu Xi shook his head and found a spot near the square of Yalidovitar to lie down and sleep.
Beside him was the transported corpse of the Yaksha Jade Tree King.
You could say Gu Xi fell asleep right next to this corpse, dozing off imdiately.
Eldest Princess Anna observed Gu Xi disregarding his status and sleeping on the ground like that, and her eyes shifted slightly.
Seeing Gu Xi fall asleep so quickly indicates he is well-prepared.
At least now, Gu Xi resembles a competent soldier, no longer akin to a novice seen at a glance.
