The White Impermanence mbers of the Ghost Squad spread out in an expanding search, while the Stone Golems seem to know where the enemy is and head straight in that direction.
The two different styles of probing quickly uncover so unusual things.
Looking at the fist-sized stone in front of him, Gu Xi was speechless.
"What you an to say is that this stone-like thing was the enemy that attacked earlier?
How is that possible? As an Undead Mage, I can differentiate between life and non-life.
At a glance, this is clearly just an ordinary stone, how could it possibly have been the presence that just attacked ?"
However, the Stone Golems that brought this item were very certain, and Gu Xi now held the stone in his hand to study it.
Upon tapping on it, Gu Xi discovered that this fist-sized stone was actually an artificial construct.

"Your aning is that you could spot sothing unusual with just a glance from the sky?"
The Stone Golems nodded quickly. They didn’t know why, but they truly discovered these stones this way.
Gu Xi then picked up the stones and smashed them one by one; most of them held these conditions inside.
Cent wrapped around a gem and a piece of rebar.
However, after smashing a few more pieces, Gu Xi still found so differences.
The gems were not complete; they all had so degree of cracks.
Initially, Gu Xi thought it was because he exerted too much force and broke them.
Now it seems the situation wasn’t like that.
It was the gems themselves that had issues.
The poor initial quality of these gems was likely the reason why they were put inside the stones, but why add a piece of rebar, Gu Xi couldn’t comprehend.
Throwing down the stone in his hand, Gu Xi turned and asked the Stone Golems.
"How many of these stones are there?"
The Stone Golems gestured a range in the air.
Seeing their actions, Gu Xi understood that in the darkness, these things covered the ground like stars scattered in the sky.
"Always been like this?"
Gu Xi asked again.
The Stone Golems nodded affirmatively.
At this mont, an idea flashed through Gu Xi’s mind.
Could these be chanical, puppet, or golem troops like the Stone Golems?
If that were true, it would explain why the Ghost Squad couldn’t perceive these things, while the Stone Golems spotted them instantly.
It was likely because the Stone Golems and these small stones were of the sa kind.
anwhile, it also led to a hypothesis in Gu Xi’s heart. To him, sothing as simple as rebar, gems, and cent might be the necessary components for creating such golems.
Thus, even if outsiders couldn’t understand, those walking this path would ensure the completeness of such golems.
Picking up another stone, Gu Xi squeezed it hard, and it crumbled into powder.
Following this, he realized that because of perhaps a lack of level or quality, these stone-like golems contained only Soul Fragnts as their soul.
The situation was sowhat like the mice Gu Xi encountered when trapped in the dungeon, needing ten to fifteen to form a complete soul.
Looking up into the darkness, Gu Xi resolutely commanded, "Stone Golems, lead the Ghost Squad and destroy all these stones here.
Soul Summoning Tower, begin extracting Soul Fragnts."
Under Gu Xi’s orders, the Ghost Squad, which hadn’t located any enemies in the dark, swiftly moved.
With the Stone Golems leading, all the stone golems were soon shattered, and large quantities of rebar and gems were brought before Gu Xi.
As the brought items increased, Gu Xi gradually discovered.
Striking these level-less golems was also beneficial for the Ghost Squad.
Although their numbers couldn’t be replenished due to the lack of levels and souls being just Soul Fragnts,
the Ghost Squad itself had undergone so changes.
Now, the Ghost Squad’s White Impermanence attire was such that all their eyes glinted with a gem-like red light; originally unard,
they now wielded rebar fashioned into mourning sticks and iron chains.
Clearly, their battle this ti had indeed been fruitful.
As long as they gained, Gu Xi wouldn’t bother much.
Soon a White Impermanence landed in front of Gu Xi.
In its hands, it held a human head-sized stone.

Upon having the stone in hand, Gu Xi confird his suspicion imdiately.
This stone too was made of cent.
But, unlike the others, this stone’s surface bore several visible cracks, occasionally flashing red light.
This thing might still be operational.
Exerting force on the crack, Gu Xi easily pried it open, revealing the inside.
Beneath the cent was a relatively complete chanical body.
The red gem served as the power source for this chanical body, with finger-thick rebar protecting so gears and parts.
Yet, these weren’t what drew Gu Xi’s attention.
To Gu Xi, this was rely a larger stone.
The true intrigue lay in a jelly-like Crystal Body inside.
As he lifted it, Gu Xi observed various patterns on the Crystal Body, featuring different colored insects, goblins, kobolds, and other troop types.
Just then, several other White Impermanence brought in similar items.
Upon dismantling them, the interiors matched the previous ones, with the final jelly-like Crystal Body containing varying patterns.
Gu Xi even saw patterns of deserts, rainforests, storms, and thunder.
Upon seeing this, Gu Xi couldn’t help but smile.
At this mont, he had realized the role of these stone-like golems.
