Perhaps it was the shadow from lunchti.

As soon as the food delivery arrived.

Su Bingbing and the caraman couldn’t wait to start wolfing it down.

Whereas Chen Mu, having tidied everything up, lay down on the sofa.

"Timi!"

"After so many episodes, it’s the first ti my wife has faced a crisis of not having food."

"Seeing these two eat, you’d think they hadn’t eaten for days."

"Dr. Chen’s current work state makes long to be a school doctor even more."

"Yeah, I’m from the hospital, and his workload compared to a hospital’s is like nothing."

"How does one apply to be a school doctor, anyone got tips? Looking for a job, online waiting, urgent!"

"..."

The entire afternoon, the school clinic was deserted.

Occasionally, a few boys and girls would co to the clinic for condoms, but would leave awkwardly upon seeing the live cara.

Initially, Su Bingbing could still find so topics to chat with Chen Mu, but as the idle ti extended, her gaze toward Chen Mu beca more reproachful.

If it weren’t for the cara still filming.

She would’ve loved to be like Chen Mu, taking out her phone without a care and playing gas on cara.

As Chen Mu continued playing his ga, the audience count in the live stream unexpectedly increased instead of dropping.

Viewers were entertained by Chen Mu’s relaxed attitude at the school clinic, and quite a few in the chat were joking about applying to Hai City University for a school doctor role, competing with Chen Mu for the job.

With no topics to discuss, Su Bingbing could only read the chat ssages.

She’d occasionally pick so interesting questions from the chat to ask Chen Mu.

At tis, she would even receive a few hilarious answers.

"Defeat!"

After losing another match against the computer, Chen Mu stared at his phone screen, pondering where his strategy went wrong.

"Knock—knock—"

A brief knock ca from the door.

"Co in."

With Chen Mu’s invitation, an elderly man with graying hair entered, using a cane.

The old man was holding the hand of a sullen-looking child with his other hand.

Seeing the visitor.

From his casual position on the sofa, Chen Mu quickly jumped up, helping the old man, and cautiously guided him to the examination bed, "Professor Liu, are you feeling unwell? Where does it hurt?"

"Is it your old ailnt acting up again?"

Before Professor Liu could react, he was already at the examination bed, ready for a pulse check.

"No need for a pulse check, I’m here for my little grandson."

Professor Liu pointed to the downtrodden child beside him, "This kid hasn’t eaten properly for two or three days now, just like having an eating disorder."

"I suddenly rembered how skilled you are, Chen, so I brought him here to see you."

"Shuyi, co over, let Dr. Chen take a look at you."

Though Liu Shuyi still had a sullen face, he obediently ca to Chen Mu and offered his wrist for examination.

Seeing his grandson being so well-behaved, Professor Liu bead even more, "Shuyi, let tell you, although Dr. Chen hasn’t worked in a top-tier hospital, he’s an excellent doctor."

"Rember my chronic back pain? A problem for decades!"

"Last year, after a few months of acupuncture with Dr. Chen, my back is pain-free now!"

"And do you know what’s most important?"

Although Liu Shuyi didn’t answer his grandfather, Su Bingbing eagerly chid in.

"Professor, what’s the most important thing?"

Professor Liu slapped his thigh, "The most important thing is, seeing Dr. Chen doesn’t cost anything; it’s free for school staff!"

Su Bingbing: "!!!"

"Hahaha! The way Professor Liu said it so seriously, and it turns out that it’s free for the faculty, hahaha!!!"

"I’m dying of laughter, Professor Liu is too realistic!"

"I just searched for this professor; he’s retired now, used to be an academician at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and now he teaches at a hotown university."

"No wonder Chen Mu’s attitude changed as soon as he entered; soone like him truly deserves respect."

"To be honest, dical treatnt is expensive these days. It’s a perk from the school for faculty; the professor’s logic isn’t off."

"Am I the only d student curious about Professor Liu’s ntion that Chen Mu cured his longstanding ailnt?"

"..."

Chen Mu examined Liu Shuyi’s pulse for a while.

His expression beca sowhat peculiar.

When Chen Mu’s inquisitive gaze rested on the child, Liu Shuyi beca flustered and avoided it.

Yet, while turning away, he still couldn’t help but sneak a peek at Chen Mu.

Could this doctor really be that skilled?

By just placing his fingers on his wrist, could he discover everything?

Seeing Liu Shuyi’s fluster, Chen Mu found it amusing.

He withdrew his hand and turned to Professor Liu, who still sat on the examination bed, "Professor, your child indeed seems to have a bit of anorexia; I’ll prescribe so patch dicine for you!"

As soon as he said this.

Liu Shuyi’s previously evasive deanor towards Chen Mu transford into disdain.

Haha!

Pretending to prescribe dicine, this statent alone revealed him to be a quack!

When he got ho, he would definitely advise his grandpa properly.

For health matters, it’s still better to go to a big hospital; one shouldn’t try to save a little money by visiting a school clinic quack.

Professor Liu cheerfully nodded, "Alright! Go ahead and prescribe it, Chen, and I’ll pay you."

Chen Mu turned to look at Liu Shuyi.

Unable to hide his expression in ti, Liu Shuyi was caught in Chen Mu’s glance.

Noticing the evident awkwardness on the child’s face, Chen Mu smiled contently, "Professor, it’s not about money, but that patch dicine isn’t available in our clinic."

"You might have to take your grandson out to purchase it."

"Need to go out and buy it?"

Professor Liu looked at his leg; although he ca monthly to Chen Mu for health adjustnts.

His age was indeed a limitation, making long walks unsuitable for him.

Seeing Professor Liu’s downward glance.

Chen Mu realized and picked up his phone, "Professor, food delivery is very convenient now; I’ll help you order it on my phone, and when it arrives, you can take it here just the sa."

Professor Liu laughed, "If that’s the case, then thank you."

Chen Mu: "No need for thanks, but since you’re here, Professor, let check your pulse and see how you’ve been lately."

Half an hour later.

"Hello, your delivery is here!"

Su Bingbing opened the door only to find a young man dressed in a KFC delivery uniform standing there.

She turned her head in confusion to look at Chen Mu.

Weren’t you ordering dicine?

Why is a KFC delivery person here; could it be that KFC now sells Chinese dicine too?

Before Su Bingbing could voice her question.

She watched as Chen Mu effortlessly signed for the delivery and headed towards his desk.

Behind him.

Catching a whiff of the aroma, Liu Shuyi’s eyes lit up, swallowing his saliva, eagerly trailing behind Chen Mu...
