Si Mo looked at her, his amber eyes darkening, as if sothing obscure was stirring within them.
"You are indeed clever, knowing that it was I who brought you here." From start to finish, there was not a bit of embarrassnt.
Mu Qingge raised an eyebrow, her slender fingers reached for an unknown fruit and bit into it fiercely. The fruit lted in her mouth, and as the sweet juice flowed into her body, a warm sensation rose, as if even her cultivation trembled slightly.
She was taken aback, looking sowhat astonished at the fruit in her hand, yet she responded to Si Mo: "Among the people I know, the only one capable of such a feat of dragging from the streets of the Princess Mansion could only be you."
Si Mo’s attractive lips curved upwards again because of her words.
Mu Qingge, however, paid no more attention to this character in the pool, taking another bite of the fruit in her hand.
The sa feeling returned, and Mu Qingge’s eyes narrowed, looking directly at him as she asked: "What kind of fruit is this?" As she spoke, she glanced around, squinting and pressing further: "And what is this place?"
Everything here gave her an unreal feeling. It was as if this place wasn’t on Linchuan Continent at all.
But if this wasn’t Linchuan Continent, then where could it be?
Could it be that this enchanting fellow really had the ability to bring her into another dinsion?
Si Mo did not find Mu Qingge’s questions annoying. Soaking in the pool, he answered: "The fruit in your hand is called the Water Spirit Fruit. The pulp contains spiritual power, and those below the Purple Realm who eat it can replenish lost spiritual power. The other fruits before you have the sa effect. As for this place, it can be considered mine. Without my will, no one can enter."
Si Mo’s words left Mu Qingge thoroughly stunned.
In her heart, a very subtle feeling arose. It was like a mortal accidentally stumbling into an Immortal Land, filled with a sense of fantasy.
"No need to be surprised, Ge’er. One day, you will be able to do this too." Si Mo’s voice suddenly appeared by her ear.
Mu Qingge reflexively turned her head, only to see an impeccably handso face magnified right before her. Her clear eyes suddenly narrowed. When did this old monster, this devil, co out of the pool and appear next to her, fully clothed?
Her shocked expression delighted Si Mo.
He reached out with long, elegant fingers, gently brushing Mu Qingge’s upturned nose.
A tingling sensation spread from her nose, and Mu Qingge quickly raised her hand to cover it, a fla of anger flickering in her clear eyes.
She felt like she had just been teased!
What a disgrace! She felt a sense of sha arise within. She had always been the one teasing others; when had anyone dared to tease her?
Very well! The guy in front of her had once again hit her sore spot.
Crash!
Her fist seed to hit an iron wall, and the pain that traveled through her hand made Mu Qingge frown.
"Did you hurt your hand?" A large hand enveloped hers, and the pain seed to vanish instantly.
Mu Qingge, with a cold face, pulled her hand back, her eyes sharp as knives fixed on his chest, wishing she could pierce several holes into it.
Damn it! Was this guy’s body made of diamond?
"What did you bring here for? Just to watch you bathe?" Mu Qingge said coldly.
Mu Qingge’s words reminded Si Mo of his original intent in bringing her here.
Recalling the captivating image of her drinking on horseback and the expressions of the crowd around, his mood, which had just improved, suddenly turned tumultuous again.
Suddenly, he had an impulse to hide the little girl before him. That way, no one else could glimpse any of her beauty.
"Hey!" Not getting an answer from Si Mo, Mu Qingge called out again.
"Si Mo."
"What?"
The unfamiliar term left Mu Qingge bewildered.
Her confused expression and puzzled gaze stirred sothing soft in Si Mo’s heart. Under her gaze, he unconsciously softened his tone, adding more patience. "Si Mo, that’s my na."
So his na is Si Mo, the old monster.
Mu Qingge suddenly understood. But then she quickly beca conflicted; what did it matter to her what his na was? Why tell her suddenly?
"From now on, call Mo." Si Mo spoke again.
Mu Qingge twitched her lips, Si Mo’s words causing goosebumps to rise all over her.
"Hehe." She moved a few steps aside to put so distance between them, daringly saying: "I think Mr. Monster suits you better."
"Why call Mr.?" Si Mo frowned and asked. He understood ’monster’ imdiately. This little girl had called him an old, undying monster after learning about those legends in Linchuan. But ’Mr.’, that wasn’t the term for a teacher? He was not a schoolmaster.
His amber eyes showed a trace of a grievance, seemingly forcing Mu Qingge to give a reasonable explanation.
Uh...
How should she explain this?
Mu Qingge scratched her head. After so struggle, she began her persuasive mode: "Mr. is a term of respect. You know, I couldn’t cultivate before. Lacking in martial skills, I could only hope to excel in literature. But I apparently have no talent for literature either, learning little from the teachers. Nevertheless, I greatly admired their extensive knowledge. So, in my heart, only the most admirable people can be called ’Mr.’"
Mu Qingge spoke these lies with no sense of guilt. After all, even in her previous life, the word ’Mr.’ wasn’t a derogatory one. However, it also didn’t hold much reverence. In the developnt of her forr world, the term had long beco synonymous with n, indicating only an individual’s level of education.
So, indeed, Mu Qingge was a person of great learning!
"Is that so?" Si Mo quietly listened to Mu Qingge’s explanation, feeling it didn’t seem quite truthful.
"Of course!" Mu Qingge replied with calm confidence.
