Mu Qingge curled her lips into a cold smile.
She had indeed underestimated Bai Xiyue’s ability to stir up trouble. Clearly injured, yet instead of resting, she had already thrown the Mu Mansion into chaos early in the morning.

And the one causing trouble sat beside him, silently weeping. Mu Lianrong was seated next to her, constantly comforting her. Upon seeing Mu Qingge’s arrival, she shot daggers at her, mixed with reproach.
Oh~! Why did she have the feeling it was like a tribunal?
Mu Qingge mocked in her heart.
"Mu Qingge, get in here!" Mu Xiong’s voice erupted like thunder out of nowhere.

Mu Qingge blinked and answered honestly, "I didn’t know."
"Then do you know why she wants to leave?" Mu Xiong, his beard bristling in anger, barked sharply.
How am I supposed to know?
Mu Qingge pursed her lips and shook her head.
"You ungrateful thing." Mu Xiong was so angry he nearly struck her. But as he raised his hand, he hesitated and put it down.
Secretly seeing this, Bai Xiyue lowered her handkerchief, revealing her red eyes, and said weakly and helplessly, "Mu Grandfather, don’t bla Mu Brother. It’s Xiyue’s fault. Xiyue wanting to move out has nothing to do with Mu Brother. I’m just an orphan without parents; the Mu Mansion has raised for so long. I can’t shalessly ask the Mu Mansion to keep forever. Now that Xiyue has grown up, I’ll take Lv Zhi and move out to find an estate outside the town, plant two mu of land, and the two of us, master and servant, can live comfortably. At least, we won’t be holess."
"Xiyue, don’t talk nonsense. Aunt won’t let you leave Mu Mansion. How can you, a young girl, live well on your own?" Mu Lianrong imdiately rejected Bai Xiyue’s decision.
"Aunt Lian, I know you care for Xiyue. But Xiyue has already decided." Bai Xiyue spoke with a sorrowful expression.
Everyone watching this showed sympathy and pity on their faces. When they looked at Mu Qingge, their gaze was filled even more with bla and disapproval.
Mu Qingge felt bewildered by their looks, as if everyone believed it was she who wanted Bai Xiyue to leave.
She chuckled playfully and said, "May I know the reason why Sister Xiyue wants to leave?"
