The elegantly decorated bedroom, Lady Wei still lay quietly on the bed. However, her complexion had gained so color compared to before, and her breath was less weak than before.
Wei Linlang waved her hand to dismiss the servants, while Mu Qingge walked to the bedside to check Lady Wei’s pulse.
After a tense wait from the three mbers of the Wei Family, Mu Qingge finally released her hand and spoke, "Hmm, the lady has been recovering quite well over the past few days. If the City Lord has no further considerations, I can give the lady the Elixir shortly."
Wei Linlang looked at his unconscious wife lying on the bed, took a deep breath and cupped his hands towards Mu Qingge, bowing, "Everything is entrusted to you, Mr. Mu."
Mu Qingge nodded her head lightly.
The three mbers of the Wei Family left the room but did not go far, instead standing outside in the courtyard waiting.
In the room, there was their closest family mber, who was hovering between life and death.
Only Mu Qingge was left in the room. She took out the prepared Elixir. The Elixir emitted a faint blue glow, with Dan Mist swirling around, constantly transforming.
The Dan Fragrance was so rich that it filled the entire bedroom, making one feel tranquil and delighted at the first sniff.
"ngng actually said my Elixir hasn’t reached the Spirit Level standard." Mu Qingge gazed at the Elixir, feeling sowhat unconvinced in her heart.
She had managed to refine it successfully in just three days, already surpassing her previous level. Yet ngng sniffed it and said the Elixir hadn’t reached Spirit Level.
When Mu Qingge pressed her for details of the Spirit Level elixir, ngng deliberately boasted, saying she should discover it herself for it to be the right way.
So, Mu Qingge kept the other Elixir from the sa batch, no longer wasting it by giving it to ngng as a candy. This made the latter furious in the space, stomping and throwing a tantrum.
After carefully examining the Elixir pinched between her fingers, Mu Qingge placed it into Lady Wei’s mouth.
The Elixir lted as soon as it entered her mouth; there was no need to swallow it consciously. As it entered, it transford into a warm current, flowing down Lady Wei’s throat into her limbs and bones, swiftly spreading through her entire ridians.
Soon, Lady Wei’s body began to convulse continuously, beads of cold sweat soaking her hair and clothes.
As her body convulsed more violently, her complexion grew paler, and her breathing beca increasingly erratic, sotis strong, sotis weak.
Mu Qingge watched her intently, taking in all her reactions. At every critical mont, she would say, "Lady, your husband and children are waiting for you; can you bear to disappoint them?" Each ti she finished speaking, Lady Wei’s breath seed to strengthen, as if infused with power.
In the courtyard, Wei Linlang stood motionless as if filled with lead, unable to move.
His tightly pressed lips and white-knuckled fingers all revealed his tension and worry at this mont.
Wei Qi and Wei Guanguan paced back and forth, occasionally craning their necks to look at the tightly closed door, their eyes filled with nothing but anxiety.
They eagerly awaited Mu Qingge’s appearance, yet also feared her arrival.
For her appearance represented two possibilities. Either their mother would recover, or she would die. They hoped for the forr yet instinctively resisted the latter.
The conflicted and contradictory thoughts grew in their hearts, gnawing at them like ants, leaving them full of wounds.
They waited like this for an entire day.
The moon rose and the sun set, and in a day filled with trepidation and anticipation, the door, closed for a whole day, was finally slowly opened, revealing a stunning splash of red.
"Mu Ge!"
"Mu Ge, how is our mother?"
Seeing the person walking out, Wei Qi and Wei Guanguan impatiently stepped forward to inquire.
