"There’s no way forward, what will you do?" Han Caicai suddenly turned around and asked Mu Qingge with a playful smile.
Mu Qingge looked at him but said nothing.
Han Caicai continued unabashedly, "You can’t fly for long in the Blue Realm, and in such an environnt, you have to fend off the fire’s invasion while flying. I’m afraid your body’s spiritual energy won’t last long."
Mu Qingge suddenly laughed, "You talk as if you’re really good at flying."
"At least I don’t need to expend spiritual power to resist the fire poison," Han Caicai’s smile grew even brighter.
Fire poison! Poison!
Han Caicai’s words sparked an idea in Mu Qingge.
If the fire could be treated as a kind of poison, then is there an antitoxic elixir to counter it?
Mu Qingge quickly searched her mind, and soon had an answer.
She rembered that among ngng’s stash of dicines, there seed to be a kind of dicinal material that could secrete a transparent sticky fluid. When applied to the body, it could resist fire.
Though this effect would disappear once the fluid evaporated, requiring reapplication, at least it could reduce her consumption of spiritual power, putting her on the sa starting line as Han Caicai.
"Then there’s no need to trouble you," Mu Qingge smiled and raised a challenging eyebrow at Han Caicai.
Han Caicai squinted his eyes, snorted arrogantly, and took a step to fly along the molten river.
After he left, Mu Qingge also had sothing new in her hand.
It was a plant that ngng had given her, resembling a rugby ball, and it was the treasure that could ward off fire.
Mu Qingge raised it above her head and squeezed it forcefully.
Instantly, a stream of transparent liquid cascaded out, spreading from her head downwards. It quickly covered her entire body, yet left no trace.
Afterward, Mu Qingge withdrew her spiritual power, and sure enough, she could no longer feel the scorching heat, instead feeling a special coolness.
’It really is a treasure!’ Mu Qingge’s eyes lit up, and a smile crept up on her lips. ’ngng, how much more of this plant do you have?’
’Don’t worry, master! This cute treasure has plenty of stock; as much as you need,’ ngng replied confidently.
With this logistical support, Mu Qingge’s smile was even more charming. She kicked off the ground and chased after Han Caicai.
On the river of molten lava, there were huge rocks for them to land on.
Every ti their flying power was exhausted, the two would land, rest a little, and then continue deeper in.
Mu Qingge’s relaxed expression left Han Caicai astonished.
Along the way, he kept glancing over, seemingly curious about the treasure Mu Qingge was using to avoid the intense heat waves here.
In this world entirely made of fire, the two didn’t know how far they had traveled or how deep they were.
Whenever her spiritual power was about to run out, Mu Qingge would take out elixirs and chew them by the handful. Watching this made Han Caicai’s eye twitch with pain, though he also had to take out his own elixirs to replenish his strength.
However, he still underestimated the number of elixirs Mu Qingge had.
When he consud his last elixir, Mu Qingge still held a large handful of interdiate elixirs, continually tossing them into her mouth.
"Hey, just how many elixirs do you have left?" Han Caicai asked with a darkened face.
Mu Qingge glanced at him, teasingly smiling, "Don’t worry, I certainly won’t drag you down."
Her mocking words made Han Caicai’s face slightly darken. His lazy, low voice took on a gloomy tone as he awkwardly said, "If you have enough elixirs, spare so."
"Oh? How co the young master of Wanxiang Building doesn’t carry enough elixirs when traveling?" Mu Qingge tut-tutted and shook her head.
