Seeing this, Huo Feifei’s hands trembled as she unbuckled her seatbelt and slid into the driver’s seat. "Brother Kuang, be careful." Knowing she couldn’t dissuade him, it was the only worried instruction she could offer.

"Don’t worry, I’ll be fine," Lin Kuang said with a reassuring smile, seeing the worry in her eyes. "Just drive back, and don’t ntion this to anyone for now."

Huo Feifei bit her lip and nodded. "Alright, I understand. Brother Kuang, you have to be careful."

"I know. Now go, before they catch up and make it difficult for you to leave," Lin Kuang urged.

"Okay." No longer hesitating, Huo Feifei nodded and drove away.

As her car disappeared, the smile on Lin Kuang’s face vanished, replaced by an incredibly cold expression. "Since you want to kill so badly, I’ll play your ga," he muttered. Gripping the Desert Eagle, he stood his ground and waited. With only one road leading here, his pursuers had no other choice but to co straight for him.

Less than five minutes later, blinding headlights pierced the darkness, appearing in his line of sight.

"Here they co," Lin Kuang murmured. He raised the Desert Eagle. It only had a few bullets left, but for him, that would be enough.

As the vehicles drew closer, he finally fired.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

He emptied the last four rounds in a single volley. The windshields of the four lead cars instantly shattered as their drivers were killed on the spot. The now-driverless vehicles swerved wildly on the road, crashing heavily into one another. In the ensuing chaos, the cars behind them piled up, creating a massive wreck. In a matter of seconds, over a dozen cars were smashed together, with almost none escaping the collision.

A cold smile touched Lin Kuang’s lips. "None of you are getting away today!"

With that, he activated the Willow Catkin Technique. His figure beca a blur, reaching its maximum speed as he charged into the wreckage. The survivors of the crash, so with severe injuries and others with minor ones, were just beginning to crawl from their vehicles when Lin Kuang appeared before them.

He drew Naless from his waist and thrust forward. A flash of cold light, and a man’s throat was pierced through. He died instantly.

The other n finally spotted him. One by one, they drew their pistols and unleashed a volley of gunfire. But when they stopped shooting, they realized Lin Kuang was gone. He had simply vanished.

Of course, Lin Kuang hadn’t actually disappeared. His speed was just too fast for their eyes to follow, creating the illusion that he had vanished from thin air. While they stood there stunned, one of the n gasped as blood erupted from his throat, which had been cleanly pierced by Lin Kuang’s sword. Seeing his companion fall, another man jumped in shock, but before he could react, he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He looked down to see the cold, gleaming tip of a blade protruding from his heart. The next mont, his eyes rolled back, and he died.

Lin Kuang moved like a phantom, his figure a swift blur that constantly disappeared and reappeared. Each ti he materialized, another man would fall, his throat or heart pierced. An indescribable terror began to creep into the hearts of the few remaining survivors. To them, Lin Kuang was no longer human—he was a demon, a specter.

In a flash, two more n collapsed. The last three could no longer withstand the suffocating fear. With a collective scream, they dropped to their knees.

"No! Don’t kill ! Please, don’t kill !" they begged, their voices overlapping. They trembled uncontrollably, their eyes wide with a terror so profound they were on the verge of soiling themselves.

Lin Kuang materialized from the darkness, his expression impassive as he stood before them. "Who sent you?" he asked, his voice calm.

"It was... it was..." one of them stamred, but he couldn’t bring himself to say the na.

Without a word, Lin Kuang thrust his sword forward. The blade pierced the man’s forehead, killing him instantly.

"That is the price of silence," Lin Kuang stated, his indifferent gaze falling on the remaining two.

At his words, the two survivors gulped audibly as they wet their pants. They had seen killing before, but never by soone like Lin Kuang, who took a life without batting an eye or the slightest tremor in his hand. This man was simply a demon who killed without blinking!

"I’ll talk! I’ll talk!" one of them blurted out, his terror overwhelming him. "We’re... we’re from the Triad."

Hearing this, Lin Kuang frowned. The Triad? That’s not a mainland organization. They’re based in Hong Kong, aren’t they?

"Triad mbers?" Lin Kuang asked. "Why would the Triad want dead?" I thought it was the Gao Family or the Chu Family, but it seems I was wrong.

"I-I don’t know! Our boss just told us to co! I really don’t know the reason!" the man wailed, begging for his life.

Lin Kuang sneered. Why should a nace to society like this be allowed to live? There’s no reason at all. With another swift thrust of his sword, the man was silenced forever.

"His answer was incomplete," Lin Kuang said, turning his gaze to the final survivor. "Your turn. Why does the Triad want to kill ?"

The man trembled so violently it seed he might fall apart. "I-I don’t know the exact reason either! But I heard soone paid our boss, and that’s why he sent us!" he explained frantically. He’d only heard rumors and wasn’t sure if they were true, but what did that matter now? Survival was the priority.

Lin Kuang nodded. "Where is the Triad’s Yanjing headquarters?"

The man didn’t dare hesitate, quickly revealing the location. Lin Kuang asked a few more questions, and once he had his answers, he sent the man on his way to the afterlife.

With the interrogation complete, Lin Kuang found a vehicle that was still operational and drove off. Once he was about fifty ters away, he fired his Type 54 pistol. A single bullet struck the fuel tank of one of the wrecked cars.

Instantly, a massive fireball erupted, engulfing the scene in flas as Lin Kuang sped away into the night.
