At this thought, one of the n quickly spoke up. "Brother Chen sent us. His full na is Chen Jianhua. He runs a few bars in East Sea and is pretty well-known."
"Alright. Do you know where he is now?" Lin Kuang asked.
"Yes, he’s at Tianhai Bar waiting for our news. It’s not far from here, only about ten to fifteen minutes by car," the kidnapper added.
"Good. You two can take a nap here for a while." As he spoke, Lin Kuang stepped before the two n. Under their terrified gazes, he delivered two swift karate chops, knocking them unconscious.
Just as Lin Kuang finished and turned to leave, the Witch approached him. "I’m going with you!" she said stubbornly, having overheard every word of his conversation with the two kidnappers.
"Let’s go," Lin Kuang said coolly, not trying to stop her. With that, he turned and left, the Witch following close behind.
Leaving the snack street, the two got into the car, and Lin Kuang drove off. Just as he was about to set up the navigation, the Witch spoke up. "No need for navigation. I know where Tianhai Bar is."
Hearing this, Lin Kuang nodded. Following the Witch’s directions, they arrived at Tianhai Bar. After parking, Lin Kuang led her inside.
Since it was dayti, the bar was deserted, with only two bored waiters chatting to pass the ti.
"We’re not open right now," one of the waiters said as they entered.
"I know. Where is Chen Jianhua?" Lin Kuang asked flatly.
"You’re looking for Brother Chen? Who are you?" the waiter asked again.
"That’s none of your business. Go get Chen Jianhua and tell him soone is here to see him," Lin Kuang stated coolly.
"Fuck! Who the hell do you think you are, you arrogant motherfucker!" the waiter cursed, his words instantly igniting Lin Kuang’s fury.
The one thing Lin Kuang could not tolerate was having his mother insulted. This waiter had just crossed his ultimate line. Lin Kuang moved in a blur, grabbing the waiter by the collar and hoisting him into the air. The terrified waiter flailed wildly, but with a surge of strength, Lin Kuang hurled him onto a booth table.
BANG!
The table instantly shattered, and the waiter lay on the floor, whimpering and wailing in agony.
"Get Chen Jianhua out here," Lin Kuang demanded again, turning to the other waiter, who was now trembling, his face pale with fright. The young man swallowed hard and nodded vigorously. He didn’t dare resist a thug like Lin Kuang. With trembling hands, the waiter dialed Chen Jianhua’s number.
"B-Brother Chen, there’s a man and a woman downstairs looking for you. They said they absolutely have to see you," the waiter stamred into the phone. After a mont of listening, he quickly agreed, "Ah? Yes, yes, of course, Brother Chen. I’ll do it right away."
Hanging up, the waiter looked at Lin Kuang in fear. "Sir, Brother Chen is upstairs. He asks that you please go up."
Lin Kuang glanced back at the Witch. Seeing her calm yet expectant expression, he said nothing more. "Lead the way," he ordered coolly.
"Yes, yes! Please follow , sir." The waiter quickly complied, leading Lin Kuang and the Witch upstairs.
Chen Jianhua was in a private room with five or six of his n, eating and drinking while they waited for his two subordinates to bring Liu Shiyu back. He was in a great mood. As soon as his n delivered the girl, he would receive a huge sum of money. It was the kind of work he was always happy to do. He was taken aback when he suddenly heard two people were downstairs looking for him, but he told the waiter to bring them up anyway.
By now, Lin Kuang and the Witch had arrived at the door of the private room.
"Sir, this is the room. I’ll be going now." With that, the waiter fled as if his life depended on it.
Lin Kuang paid him no mind. He simply lifted his foot and kicked the door in.
BAM!
With a sound effect worthy of a movie, the door flew open, startling Chen Jianhua and his n. No one had ever dared to kick his door in. This was a first.
Everyone’s gaze snapped to the doorway as Lin Kuang walked in with the Witch.
Seeing the two young people enter, Chen Jianhua and his n were montarily stunned. His eyes lit up when he saw the Witch. Isn’t that Liu Shiyu? Why did she deliver herself to my doorstep? And who is this man?
While Chen Jianhua was lost in thought, Lin Kuang spoke. "Which one of you is Chen Jianhua?" His eagle-sharp gaze swept over the n, causing so to instinctively lower their heads.
Seeing Lin Kuang’s sharp, unconcealed gaze, Chen Jianhua’s expression shifted. This man is trouble. An inner voice imdiately warned him.
"Who are you?!" Chen Jianhua demanded, glancing at the n around him. His five henchn exchanged a look and reached into their jackets, clearly preparing for a fight. Lin Kuang saw it all but acted as if he had noticed nothing, completely unconcerned by their subtle movents.
"Liu Shiyu’s bodyguard. I heard you wanted to capture her?" Lin Kuang asked coolly. He didn’t even need to ask to know that this was Chen Jianhua. At a table like this, only the man in charge would have the authority to stand up and speak.
"Bodyguard? What are you doing here? Looking for trouble?" Chen Jianhua asked in disbelief. No one on this street had ever dared to act so arrogantly toward him. That a re bodyguard would have the gall to show up was sothing he found hard to believe.
"What? Am I not allowed to co looking for you?" Lin Kuang asked calmly, eting his incredulous stare.
"Hahaha! Hahahaha! Kid, are you out of your fucking mind? A lowly bodyguard daring to cause trouble at my place? I bet you’re not here to make trouble. You’re here to personally deliver this little chick to , aren’t you?" At this, Chen Jianhua burst out laughing, looking absolutely delighted.
Seeing their boss laugh, his five subordinates joined in, cackling at Lin Kuang for so blatantly overestimating his own abilities.
After a mont, Lin Kuang’s voice cut through the noise. "Are you done laughing?"
His icy gaze swept over Chen Jianhua and his n. For so reason, under Lin Kuang’s glacial stare, they all involuntarily shivered.
