"It’s all sorted out now, but I was seriously injured this ti," Lin Kuang said with a bitter smile, wiping the corner of his mouth.
After composing himself, he checked his injuries. Although he had so internal damage, it was manageable.
That’s about it. I’ll head ho first. Lin Kuang thought, turning to leave.
Wait a second. My clothes are covered in blood. How am I supposed to get back like this? Do I really have to run? I can’t possibly take a cab; the driver would be scared to death. This line of thought was depressing, but it seed to be his only option.
With no other choice, the miserable Lin Kuang began sprinting down the street. His speed was so incredible that he was just a blur to the cars he passed, leaving the drivers to wonder if they had just seen a ghost.
It took nearly half an hour of blazing-fast sprinting for Lin Kuang to finally get back to Mu Wan’s house. Standing at the main gate, he rested for a mont. The long run had been exhausting, especially since he was already injured. After catching his breath, Lin Kuang walked through the gate and up to the villa’s front door.
It was almost midnight, so everyone else had gone to bed, but Mu Wan was still awake. When Lin Kuang walked in covered in blood, her expression changed instantly, and her beautiful eyes filled with worry.
"Lin Kuang, are you alright?" she asked, rushing over to him.
"I’m fine, just a few minor injuries," Lin Kuang said with a smile. "Most of this blood is from my enemies. It’s nothing to worry about."
Hearing this, Mu Wan finally let out a small sigh of relief.
"Oh, is that so? You scared to death. Go take a shower. I’ll check your wounds afterward," she said hurriedly.
Not one to stand on ceremony, Lin Kuang quickly went upstairs to shower. When he ca out with a bath towel wrapped around his waist, the wounds on his body had almost healed. On the surface, there seed to be no significant issues, though his internal injuries still needed ti to recover.
Seeing that he had no serious injuries, Mu Wan was finally able to relax completely.
"You jerk, you almost scared to death," she said irritably.
"Hey, it’s nothing serious, just so superficial wounds," Lin Kuang reassured her with a smile.
"Alright then, let’s go. It’s getting late. Ti to get so rest," Mu Wan said.
Lin Kuang nodded with a smile. They turned off the lights and went upstairs.
Back in their room, Mu Wan lay down on the bed to rest while Lin Kuang sat cross-legged, circulating his True Qi to heal his internal injuries. Nourished by his potent True Qi, his body repaired itself quickly. His recovery was naturally swift, given his robust constitution and the fact that his injuries weren’t particularly severe.
Once his internal injuries were healed, Lin Kuang began to cultivate. He felt that today’s battle could lead to a significant increase in his strength. He was no longer far from reaching the sixth of the Eight Gates Escape Technique, the Scenic Gate, and he expected to break through very soon.

At five in the morning, Lin Kuang woke up on schedule. After freshening up, he went out into the manor grounds to practice Tai Chi Chuan. Once he finished a full set, he noticed another slight increase in his strength, which put him in a very good mood.

Just then, Mu Chengzhen called Lin Kuang in for breakfast. Lin Kuang acknowledged him and went back inside.
After the al, Mu Junwen took Mu Chengzhen with him to the military base. As of today, Mu Chengzhen was officially a proud soldier.
This left Lin Kuang and Mu Wan with nothing to do. There were no chores at ho, and the military certainly didn’t need them. For a while, the two idlers had no idea what to do with themselves.
Two hours later, Mu Wan finally spoke up. "Lin Kuang, why don’t we go shopping? It’s so boring staying at ho."
She was a naturally restless person. Being busy made her feel fulfilled, but when things were quiet, the feeling of not knowing what to do was unbearable.
"Sure, let’s go. We don’t have anything else to do anyway," Lin Kuang said with a laugh, seeing how restless she was.
"Okay! Okay! I’ll go change. Wait for here; we’ll leave in a minute." Hearing his agreent, Mu Wan sat up straight in bed, her mood instantly brightening.
"Go on, you silly girl, but don’t rush. Take your ti," Lin Kuang said with a wry smile, watching her hurry off. She gets so excited at the re ntion of shopping. Then again, it seems all won are like that...
Just as he was thinking this, his phone rang. He pulled it out and looked at the screen. It was an unfamiliar number from Hangcheng.
Soone from Hangcheng? I don’t know anyone there... Could it be Luo Wenjun? With that thought, he quickly answered the call.
"Hello, who is this?" Lin Kuang asked coolly.
"Mr. Lin, hello! It’s , Luo Wenjun," the man on the other end said quickly, his voice laced with anxiety.
"Oh, Mr. Luo. What happened? You sound anxious," Lin Kuang asked with a smile.
"Mr. Lin, I am indeed anxious," Luo Wenjun said with a bitter smile. "People from the Ye Family are coming over soon, and I’m afraid I can’t handle them on my own."
He had only just received the news himself. The more he thought about it, the more dangerous the situation seed, leaving him with no choice but to call Lin Kuang for help.
Hearing this, Lin Kuang nodded. The mont he knew it was Luo Wenjun, he had suspected the call was about this exact matter. As expected, it was about the Ye Family.
"Alright, I understand," Lin Kuang said with a smile. "Are you still at the sa place I visited before? If so, I’ll head over and find you."
"Yes, yes, yes, Mr. Lin! We’re still here. I’ll be waiting for you," Luo Wenjun said, a great sense of relief washing over him.
"Okay, that’s settled then. I’ll be over shortly."
With that, Lin Kuang hung up.
