The pounding music kept stimulating the eardrums’ nerves, which made Su Ni, who was experiencing it for the first ti, feel pretty aweso.
Previously, when she was enforcing the law, she did co to places like these, but it was always with others and the occasions were limited. Every ti the police arrived, the nightclub’s music and dancers would quickly stop, and she couldn’t find the kind of imrsive feeling she had now.
Once Su Ni entered, she quickly found the bar and confidently ordered a chilled beer, letting the pounding music make her blood boil.
Lin Zifeng walked straight to her side, ordered a cocktail from the server, laughed, and said, "You insisted on coming to this place with , don’t tell you’re just here to soak up the atmosphere?"
Su Ni slowly turned her head, glanced at him, and playfully said, "Who said I’m here just to soak up the atmosphere? I’m here to have fun, okay?"
"Oh, do cops co to places like these?" Lin Zifeng shrugged and blinked with a smile.
Su Ni’s cheeks reddened and she stamred, "Cops are humans too, and with such stressful jobs, it’s nice to relax sotis. Besides, we only catch bad guys, not everyone who cos to party at nightclubs is bad."
"Alright then, you go have fun, I’m going inside to find so friends." Lin Zifeng shrugged his shoulders; with Su Ni’s skills and temperant, it’s unlikely anyone would dare bother her.
"Friends? What friends?" Su Ni asked curiously.
"I have a few friends playing here, so I have to go find them now. You stay here, after all, you don’t know them," Lin Zifeng said casually.
Su Ni was unhappy about being ignored and said, "Are your friends not even allowed to et ?"
"I’m afraid once you et them, you won’t get along," Lin Zifeng replied.
"But I still really want to et them," Su Ni stubbornly insisted.
"Alright, if you change your outfit, I bet they’ll definitely hang out with you," Lin Zifeng scanned her up and down, thinking she just doesn’t like to dress up, though she looks really good.
With a large bust, a slim waist, and a round butt, while looking great, she only has a plain won’s uniform to wear other than her police uniform. Even though it fits well, outlining her already perfect figure, it’s terribly unfashionable. Nowadays, which woman dresses like this anymore? This is not a market, it’s all about fashion and taste here; a woman’s pants having pockets just look less elegant.
"Why do my clothes matter when eting your friends? Besides, it’s just making friends and having drinks, not like I’m trying to date anyone. Why bother dressing up so nicely?"
Su Ni blushed, feeling sowhat anxious; she genuinely wanted to make friends with Lin Zifeng’s friends. She didn’t have many friends herself, so making a new friend would be quite nice for her.
"Uh, fine. If you feel awkward anyti later, you can always leave." Lin Zifeng wiped the sweat from his forehead. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to take Su Ni inside.
The group of buddies Mu Yang hangs out with hardly seem like good people; they’re all sophisticated urban ladies, and between won, it’s all about comparing with and teasing each other. Who knows if Mu Yang’s pals have such thoughts?

Then, she went with Lin Zifeng into the luxurious private room on the nightclub’s second floor.
At that mont, the cheers in the room rose as Tang Zhe and his two rascal buddies had already been dissatisfied with Shao Huo for a while.
Earlier, Lin Zifeng had taken advantage of them, so naturally, this was pinned on Shao Huo.
"Hey brother, let offer you a drink." Tang Zhe approached with a glass of XO and smiled.
"Sure." Shao Huo accepted his goodwill almost without thinking.

"Never mind, a hand slip is a minor issue; what’s scary is if sothing else goes limp—now that’s serious." Shao Huo chuckled, picked up another XO bottle, and poured himself a drink, smiling as he said, "Since Mr. Tang is so gentlemanly, I can’t be too petty either. Let dedicate this drink to you."
With that, Shao Huo suddenly tilted his glass forward, spilling the entire drink on Tang Zhe’s face.
"Oh dear, I’m truly sorry. But maybe I drank too much tonight too, and my hand slipped. Mr. Tang, don’t be mad." As everyone noticed Tang Zhe’s changing expression, Shao Huo whipped out a pre-stained white handkerchief from his pocket, sared with so leftover tomato sauce from chips, and quickly pressed it to Tang Zhe’s nose.
"Oh wow, Mr. Tang, have you been too fiery lately, even your nose is bleeding." Shao Huo perford dramatically, flipping the handkerchief, stained with tomato sauce, over. It was hard to tell in the dim light whether it was blood or sauce.
"Mr. Tang, you’re bleeding!" Soone exclaid.
"Ah! I’m bleeding?" Tang Zhe was still clueless; he had no idea if he was bleeding or not. He only knew he had way too many things going on lately, so after hearing the crowd’s cries, suddenly he noticed sothing and hurriedly grabbed his two pals heading toward the restroom.
Everyone burst out laughing together, Tang Zhe was furious; this embarrassnt was far worse than losing face at hotel drinking contests!
"Why would Tang Zhe suddenly have a nosebleed?"
A sweet-looking girl behind Shao Huo murmured, her facial expressions shifting dramatically from initial surprise to increasingly exaggerated.
Shao Huo licked the white handkerchief and grinned, "It’s just tomato sauce..."
"You, you actually tricked him?" The girl covered her face with extrely exaggerated expressions.
"This isn’t tricking, it’s playing," Shao Huo boasted proudly, a trick he had learned from Lin Zifeng.
If soone offers him an inch, he’ll give them a mile, and if a mile isn’t enough, give them another mile...
