Chu Baobao giggled as she sat down with her best friend, He Mingyue.
She then beckoned a waiter over to order, showing that He Mingyue wasn’t keen on associating with the man nad Xiao, demonstrating her dislike with just a glance.
Lin Zifeng quickly turned his head, fearing they might recognize him at that mont.
"What’s up with you?"

As she passed by those two girls, the man sitting across from Chu Baobao and He Mingyue looked over Nangong Bingjiao’s graceful figure with greedy eyes.
His lewd gaze scanned up and down, which Lin Zifeng noticed and found displeasing.
"Brother Xiao, what are you looking at?"
Chu Baobao, in the middle of ordering, looked up to see the man’s gaze wasn’t on them.
"Nothing, I think I just saw soone I know."
The man awkwardly explained.
"Soone you know? You must be kidding."
Lin Zifeng sneered, continuing to endure the unpleasant Western steak.
"Hey! That back looks really familiar, like I’ve seen it sowhere, uh huh? Let think."
Following the man’s line of sight, Chu Baobao’s eyes widened, seemingly recognizing sothing from Lin Zifeng’s back.
"Yes! It’s him!"
Her face changed, pointing with a trembling finger: "It’s the creepy uncle who blocked my way in the garage earlier! I can’t believe this! Even here, he’s such bad luck!"
"Baobao, what’s wrong? Do you know him?" the man asked, looking in her direction.
Yet, as if nothing had happened, Lin Zifeng continued to endure the torture of Western dining...
"Is that weird uncle you ntioned really this guy?" the man asked, staring at Lin Zifeng’s back unhappily.
"Yes! That’s him! If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t have been late," Chu Baobao complained, recalling the fright in the garage.
"Baobao, you can’t put all the bla on soone else, you know," He Mingyue interjected, trying to calm her escalating emotions.
"But..." Chu Baobao’s face reddened, wanting to say more, but the man interrupted her.
"Leave this to . I’ll see that justice is served," the man assured with a smile and approached.
"Hey! Xiao... don’t do anything crazy!" He Mingyue was at a loss, unsure how to address him due to his unusual na being hard for a girl to voice.
"Don’t worry, I won’t do anything rash," the man assured, shooting her a reassuring look before standing across from Lin Zifeng with a glass of wine.
"Do I know you?" Lin Zifeng asked, chopping into his steak without even bothering to look up.
This disregard made the man uncomfortable.
"Hello, I’m Xiao Jiba, director of Huayu Group’s film departnt."
"Pfft—!"
"Wh-what! Little... Chicken/Bar!" Lin Zifeng almost spit out his drink, eyes wide as saucers, staring at him in disbelief.
