“Forget it, since he’s gone, that’s just fine. The three of us can swim together. Co on, Bingbing, I heard you used to be a swimming champion in the United States, why don’t you teach Linlin?”
Liu Ruyan felt a special closeness to Li Lin from the mont they t.
Holding her trembling hand, she frowned and asked, “Linlin, what’s wrong? Why is your hand shaking?”
“N-no, maybe I’m just not used to this warm water.” Li Lin explained.
“Haha… It’s okay, swim a few more tis and you’ll get used to it. Co on, Bingbing and I will teach you together.”
As she spoke, she held Nangong Bing with one hand and Li Lin with the other, slowly leading them towards the swimming pool.

Li Lin suddenly scread.
“What happened, Linlin?”
Liu Ruyan and Nangong Bing were both startled by her scream.
Li Lin avoided their gazes, stamring softly, “N-nothing, I accidentally stepped on a stone.”
Oh my god! That wasn’t a stone; it was clearly my foot!
Underwater, Lin Zifeng grimaced in pain, thankful for his good swimming skills. He had practiced holding his breath underwater back at the Heavenly Gate and later trained painstakingly until he could hold his breath for half an hour!
“A stone? I rember there weren’t any stones below. How could there be a stone?”
