Chapter 1298: Chapter 1332: Wang Chongyang’s Disdain

“Father, I think he’s here.” The sound of knocking, Wang Xiaomin’s eyes lit up, she knew it must be Lin Zifeng.

Wang Chongyang, who was watching the latest news headlines on TV, just nodded, gesturing for Wang Xiaomin to open the door for Lin Zifeng.

If it weren’t for Wang Xiaomin begging him to co, Wang Chongyang wouldn’t have co here to see Lin Zifeng’s so-called dical skill.

“Creak~”

After the door of the private room opened, Wang Xiaomin imdiately recognized the man who ca in.

“Hello.” To ease the awkwardness from the earlier phone call, Lin Zifeng smiled as brightly as a flower.

“Hello, Mr. Lin.”

Unexpectedly, Wang Xiaomin wasn’t angry about Lin Zifeng’s prank call. Her face bead like a flower, “Mr. Lin, welco. Please co in.”

“!!!”

Lin Zifeng was taken aback, not expecting Wang Xiaomin to be so polite. From her smile, Lin Zifeng was quite certain that Wang Xiaomin was a magnanimous woman who wouldn’t fuss over trivial matters.

“Alright.” Lin Zifeng nodded and imdiately walked into the private room.

At the mont, Wang Chongyang was sitting on the couch in the private room, watching TV, and didn’t intend to acknowledge Lin Zifeng’s arrival.

“Father, he’s here.”

Wang Xiaomin quickly introduced Lin Zifeng to her father.

“Oh.” Wang Chongyang responded without even turning to look at Lin Zifeng, showing no interest in his arrival.

“Father, he’s here.” Wang Xiaomin’s face darkened slightly, knowing her father was putting on airs again. With no other options, she awkwardly called out again in front of Lin Zifeng.

“I know.” Wang Chongyang nodded again and then glanced at Lin Zifeng.

That gaze was filled with calm indifference, showing that he didn’t care about Lin Zifeng at all.

“Young man, since you’re here, make yourself comfortable. Have a seat.”

“Alright, thank you, Uncle Wang.” Lin Zifeng nodded quietly and casually found a spot to sit down.

“Huh?”

Wang Chongyang unexpectedly turned his head and glared at Lin Zifeng, surprised that this guy actually dared to sit down in front of him?

Imdiately, Wang Chongyang’s estimation of Lin Zifeng dropped significantly. He casually allowed him to sit, and he truly did.

This young man really lacked manners.

“Father, he’s the Mr. Lin I told you about.”

Seeing that the atmosphere was slightly awkward, Wang Xiaomin quickly introduced Lin Zifeng to her father.

“You don’t need to say it, I already know.” Wang Chongyang seed sowhat displeased.

Having seen arrogant young n, he had never encountered one so lacking in decorum. Such a person being skilled in dical technology? It’s a joke; a truly skilled person should have high manners too.

“Mr. Lin, this is my father, Wang Chongyang.” Wang Xiaomin knew her father’s temper, so she paid no attention to him.

“I know.” Lin Zifeng continued nodding perfunctorily, knowing he was just there to go through the motions and didn’t need to care too much.

“Alright, since you all know each other, let’s eat first, and then we’ll discuss the main business later.”

“No, let’s solve the serious matter first, then eat.” Wang Chongyang declined.

He really didn’t want to have a al with soone like this; if word got out, where would his reputation go?

“Father.”

Wang Xiaomin frowned, coquettishly implying he should treat Lin Zifeng with so respect. After all, Lin Zifeng was invited by her. If they scared him away, it would be hard to see him again.

“What? Did I say sothing wrong?” Wang Chongyang’s face was full of displeasure.

Getting up, he shot a sharp glance at Lin Zifeng, who was sitting on the sofa utterly unconcerned.

“Young man, I hear your dical skill is impressive. Could I perhaps witness it?”

This “witness,” Lin Zifeng found it rather mystical; if he had said “let experience,” Lin Zifeng might have begrudgingly accepted the tone, but witnessing was too much.

“In front of Uncle Wang, my little tricks are really not worth showcasing; I’m afraid Uncle Wang would only see a joke.” Lin Zifeng quickly responded with a forced smile.

Oh! Old glass, if it wasn’t for your daughter, would I co to this wretched place to look at your face?

Your face is truly thick.

Lin Zifeng was secretly displeased, his gaze falling on Wang Xiaomin, signaling her to speak.

“Father, don’t be so hasty. Mr. Lin just arrived. At least eat and drink before the match, it’s not too late for that?”

Wang Xiaomin felt genuinely sorry for Lin Zifeng today; her father just had this stubborn bull headedness.

“Match? You begged to co today just so I could match with him?” Wang Chongyang felt his face burn a bit; his daughter was asking him to match before this unknown outsider, which lowered his status.

Alas, daughters are raised to go astray, the old saying seems promising.

Wang Chongyang genuinely regretted coming to this foolish place, wasting ti to embarrass himself with this young junior, feeling both angry and amused.

“Father, he’s a guest anyway. I know you care about face; it’s just the three of us here today, can’t you be flexible?” Wang Xiaomin pulled her father’s arm aside and whispered sweetly into his ear.

“The thing is, this young man seems to know nothing; how do you expect to match with him?” Wang Chongyang spread his hands, turning his head to glance at Lin Zifeng, who was tastelessly eating an apple while switching TV channels.

Cuddling a sofa cushion, looking carefree.

Seeing it made one’s blood boil.

“Father, regardless he’s my friend, can’t you give so face? You can test him, maybe you’ll be instant friends with endless topics to talk about?”

“Instant friends?” Wang Chongyang spoke, pointing to his own nose in surprise.

“Yes, instant friends.”

Wang Xiaomin blinked, nodding sincerely.

“You used that word quite well.” Wang Chongyang already felt he couldn’t continue the conversation, waving his hand with an embarrassed face, approaching Lin Zifeng.

With a dry smile, “Young man, I see you look respectable, maybe let’s exchange a few words then drink?”

“Exchange what?”

Lin Zifeng was confused, as he didn’t know any so-called dical skill, nor understood any exchange nonsense.

“…”

See, see, this guy just proves to be an imposter.

Wang Chongyang was speechless.
