"Can you not leave tomorrow?"
Silence stood pitifully in front of Lin Zifeng, looking as if she had been hurt.
"Ah! Not leave?"
"Mm-hmm, don’t leave." Silence nodded seriously.
"..."
This ti, the fog in Lin Zifeng’s mind thickened.
He looked at her with a bitter smile, awkwardly touched his nose, and said with a smile, "Do you want to keep Brother Lin for dinner?"
"Brother Lin, I’m being serious with you."
"I’m not joking with you either," Lin Zifeng said with a smile.
"But, I don’t know how long it will be before we et again after this goodbye. And I’ve already promised my brother I wouldn’t go out anymore."
As she spoke, the little girl really seed to be on the verge of tears.
"Brother Lin, could you stay with for a while? Just for a while, this ti parting, I really don’t know if I can see you again."
"Hehe, silly girl, if you want Brother Lin to co back in the future, isn’t that easy? Just make a call or send a text, and Brother Lin will be back, won’t he?" Lin Zifeng pinched her small nose and pretended to speak seriously, "Don’t worry, Brother Lin will definitely co to see you often. Look at yourself, if your friends and fans saw you, they would laugh at you."
"Let them laugh, this life isn’t what I want anyway. Rather than being laughed at by others, I’d rather have a life of my own freedom." Silence’s tone was sowhat desolate, with a touch of lancholy in her eyes.
"Haha—so young, yet talking like an old lady, is that really good?" Lin Zifeng laughed, wanting to hug her and comfort her, but suddenly an image of the old Buddha flashed in his mind, and his expression froze.
"Brother Lin, I’m serious, stop making fun of ," Silence puffed up her cheeks angrily, pouting her rosy lips in slight dissatisfaction with Lin Zifeng. Especially when she stomped her foot, the half-visible glow on her pink blouse was sothing Lin Zifeng couldn’t help but sneak a glance at.
"Brother Lin, you only see my glamorous exterior, but you don’t know the loneliness deep inside . Although my brother is the Gambling God of Macau, it doesn’t bring much happiness. Even the last ti I went to Zhonghai for an internship was the only ti I ever relaxed. Now my brother’s enemies are increasing, and I’m really afraid to go out again. If bad people catch , it won’t just involve my brother.
If I had a choice, I’d rather be an ordinary girl."
In this lifestyle and environnt, Silence truly wasn’t too eager for it. She’d rather live the life of an ordinary person.
"You’re an ordinary girl now." Lin Zifeng stepped forward, hugged Silence in his arms, patted her back, and comforted her, "I understand your current life. As long as your heart is free, even if you’re restrained, what’s the difference?"
Lin Zifeng understood Silence’s situation very well, feeling a bit sympathetic.
Because of her brother, she lost her freedom, which indeed was sowhat unfair.
"Brother Lin, to-to-night, can you..."
The little girl suddenly raised her wide, watery eyes to look at him pitifully.
Her gentle and slender arms lightly wrapped around the man’s waist.
"What’s wrong? What do you want to say?"
Lin Zifeng grimaced, wanting to push her away, but couldn’t bear to.
As a man, facing a pitiful woman, there’s always a bit of sympathy. If he pushed her away now, it wouldn’t be gentlemanly.
"I-I don’t know how to say it?"
Suddenly, a moist blush slowly crept up her cheeks, and her shy heart pounded wildly.
