A killing intent surged from Mo Huasong, scaring Xiao Shi into collapsing onto the floor and dropping the dishes she was holding.
“Whoosh.” Energy thrust out, caught the plate, and sent it floating to the dining table.
Xiao Shi, shocked, stared at the bizarre occurrence, struggling to believe her own eyes.
How was this possible? The dish was just floating to the dining table on its own?
Mo Huasong, his face sullen, said, “Xiao Shi, be careful and hurry up with all the dishes. And don’t interrupt me again.”
“Yes, My Lord.” Xiao Shi immediately scrambled to her feet and ran out.
Shortly after, Xiao Shi served all the dishes and then bowed deeply, “My Lord, do call on me if you need anything, I’ll be outside.”
Not long after Xiao Shi left, Xiao Jie emerged from the bathroom.
Now, Xiao Jie’s face was flushed with a bashful look.
As soon as he saw Xiao Jie’s delicate features, Mo Huasong’s eyes lit up.
Noticing Mo Huasong’s stare, Xiao Jie chided him, “Mo Huasong, all your fault, someone saw us. If this gets out, what will people think of me?”
“Don’t worry, Xiao Shi works for us. I’ve warned her earlier, she won’t start rumors.” Mo Huasong spoke dismissively. “You should eat something now.”
Hungry, Xiao Jie wasted no more words with Mo Huasong and began eating.
After her meal, Xiao Jie stood up and said, “I’ve finished my duties. Are you going to drop me off or should I call my bodyguards?”
“You’re leaving now?” Mo Huasong was surprised.
What happened to Xiao Jie? In the past, even when he didn’t ask her to leave, she didn’t dare leave.
But now, she was proposing to leave herself as though she was in charge.
“Of course. What else would I do here if I didn’t leave? If you want me to stay for dinner, I can do that too.” Xiao Jie said.
“That’s more like it.” Mo Huasong felt appeased.
“Give me another billion.” Xiao Jie demanded.
“Cough, cough, cough.” Mo Huasong choked up. “Do you only care about money?”
Xiao Jie sneered, “Mo Huasong, naturally I only care about money. Wasn’t that clear ages ago? You even said so yourself at one point.”
“Call your bodyguards then.” Mo Huasong sighed. “Plus, you can’t dine with other men in the future.”
“That’s not certain, I love money so much. As long as someone can afford it, I would go out to dinner.” Xiao Jie began texting her bodyguards.
In fact, Xiao Jie knew Mo Huasong wouldn’t drop her off. That’s why she’d already summoned her female bodyguard to wait beneath the hotel.
But as soon as Xiao Jie finished texting, Mo Huasong stood up and said, “I’m heading back to school now, you can hitch a ride since I’m passing through.”
“Huh.” Xiao Jie was somewhat flabbergasted.
Didn’t he just say he wouldn’t send her and asked her to call her bodyguards? Now he was going to drop her off?
“What do you mean by ‘Huh’, e on.” The thought of Xiao Jie possibly dining with other men for money angered Mo Huasong.
Therefore, Mo Huasong decided to drive this woman back himself.
If he saw any insolent man on the way, he’d make him pay the price.
No matter if it’s a Porsche or a Ferrari, he would raze them to the ground.
Xiao Jie texted her female bodyguard again, then put on a hat and mask and followed Mo Huasong out.
Mo Huasong’s car was conveniently parked next to the underground elevator entrance.
This parking spot was exclusive to the hotel and wouldn’t be available to other guests.
Mo Huasong drove fast, and before long he had dropped Xiao Jie off at the performance pany.
Suddenly, Xiao Jie playfully asked, “Mo Huasong, isn’t the route from Tengfei Hotel to your school doesn’t pass through here, does it?”
“I, I —” Mo Huasong was left speechless.
At this point, the female bodyguards drove back. Xiao Jie opened the door and got out, “Did you forget the way?”
“Yes, I forgot the way.”Mo Huasong hurriedly responded.

After she had walked away a few steps, a cunning smile crept onto Xiao Jie’s face.
Overhearing this angered Mo Huasong; he immediately summoned the Black Ghost Fire. “How dare this woman say such things to me? Is she courting death?”
“Aiya, Master, this Cullinan is ours, you can’t burn it!” The Fire Spirit urgently tried to convince Mo Huasong. “Plus, you are in the car.”
“Who said I was going to burn the car?” Mo Huasong snarled irately.
“If you’re not burning the car, why did you call me out?” The Fire Spirit was confused.
Mo Huasong said, “Can’t I call you out for a little warming up?”
“Oh my gosh, you want a fire in this hot weather?” The Fire Spirit felt a tad faint.
“Ring, ring.” Mo Huasong’s phone rang.
Mo Huasong pulled out his phone and saw that it was Su Weidong calling. “Weidong, what’s up?” Mo Huasong answered.
“Huasong, there’s trouble,” Su Weidong exclaimed hurriedly.
“What happened?” Mo Huasong looked at the time. It was now class time.
“The guidance counselor just came over and asked for you. He told me to contact you and said you have to return to school immediately. It appears that the school might expel you.” Su Weidong sounded desperate.
Mo Huasong snorted, “Well well, I’m going right back to school. Let’s see if they dare to expel me.”
After hanging up the phone, Mo Huasong immediately started driving towards Zhanhai University.
Inside the classroom of Zhanhai University’s Chinese Language and Literature Class 1(2), students were whispering amongst each other.
“It seems the school is serious about it this time, Mo Huasong will be expelled.”
“That remains to be seen. In today’s society, if you have money and status, you may be able to fix any issues.” A male student remarked, “Didn’t you see? Mo Huasong drove here in a car worth 60 million.”
Jia Weiqiang, who sat nearby, scoffed, “Sitting in the classroom doesn’t mean it’s yours. Just because you drive a luxury car doesn’t mean it’s yours. Even if Mo Huasong has some money, so what? Our university is not your average corporation where money talks.”
“Of course, if it’s like the Lin family or Jia Family, those big clans, the Principal would need to give them face.” Jia Weiqiang bragged about his insights to his classmates.
“Huh? Class Monitor Wei Qiang, is your family name Jia? Do you have any connections to the Jia Family?” a female student inquired.
